Goal Club Pre-Game / Half-Time Receptions: Iona vs. Buffalo
Attention Goal Club Members, the Goal Club Men's Basketball post-game reception in the Hegarty Multi-Purpose Room has been moved to a pre-game reception on the Hynes Athletics Center pool deck for Tuesday evening’s 7:30pm Men's Basketball Game against the Mid-American Conference’s Buffalo.
The Goal Club member only reception is scheduled to begin at 6:15pm and will continue until tip-off at 7:30pm. In addition at halftime please join us on the pool deck for another Goal Club gathering followed by an informal Goal Club gathering at the Beechmont immediately following the conclusion of the game.

let''s hope it is a joyful post game event Guy F... a loss at home in the biggest campus event in nearly 15 years would be a devastating blow to the BB program. Go Gaels !!

Three things: 1. Having a 6:15 reception, might be a way of geting people to the game early and eliminating the crowds at the Will Call desk. 2. Are the students on Spring Break? 3. Could SID get some info from the Buffalo SID about Derek Wolfley?

ic59, I was thinking the exact same thing about the pregame reception. I think it could be a very confusing time in the lobby - at least this may spread out the confusion. I believe the students are back in class as of today. Hopefully, there will be an all-out effort on campus to fill Hynes tomorrow night.

Word is the students are getting free tickets, and that ticket sales in general are going well. This should be well attended--something that other CIT hosts have NOT seen thus far.
