Why does the name East Tenn. St. already suggest to me that we're in for a ridiculous home job. Maybe it was Cluess' story he told the goal club early in the season about the Norfolk St. game. He said when the refs came on the floor they were hugging and high fiving the Norfolk St. players.

Thank you for your insight and welcome to the board Etsubuc. Hope the game is a barn-burner!

Great 2nd half by the team last night. It's clear they don't want the season to end!
Welcome to any new visitors from ETSU. We can visit their board at etsufans.com.

We are going to have to come up with a far more complete 40 minute effort if we expect to beat East Tennessee on Saturday on the road. The way the tourney has broken out, the 2 top RPI teams will be meeting in that game in the semis - both are in the top 100. On the other side, both teams are below 150 RPI. On the plus side, the Gaels (for some reason) actually seem to be more focused and intense on the road than at home.

Some thoughts............
*31 schools still playing, we are one of them *4 Championships, we could win one of the. *Never saw an Iona game in the Spring until last night *Never went to a IC night game and it was still light out.
Weird, but I am digging this, a lot of fun! Hope we get that banner, it will look great hanging from Hynes.
Can not wait until Saturday, GO GAELS!!!!

Instead of MAAC fans poo-pooing the CIT, they should be pulling for us. Quite frankly, I think it makes the league look good. Think about it--if we go on to win the CIT, we'll have been able to do that but NOT win the MAAC Tourney. That says something about the league, no?

I thought the same thing last night.

Once again great game last night. Besides UConn what other "local" teams are playing.
From what I gather the national search for AD is going well. Hopefully that leads to a less staff attrition in the future.

Not to jump a step, but it would be nice to play another Brad Doherty team. Did pretty well the last time. Matt Doherty

I would also like to acknowledge the workman like effort of the SID pronouncing the name of #22 on Buffalo last night, I think that was the toughest name I heard all year

I would also like to acknowledge the workman like effort of the SID pronouncing the name of #22 on Buffalo last night, I think that was the toughest name I heard all year You obviously missed our WBB exhibition vs. the Czech national team when I was a grad assistant... The tougher part was to not say "Bills" instead of "Bulls" ;-) Do you know who Bob Sheppard's favorite Yankee opponent was to announce?

SID, I have no idea as to the Bob Sheppard question, but I have one for you. Whatever happened to Derek Wolfley? In the Buffalo game notes, he showed up on the roster, but didn't play at all during the season.
