Missed much of the game. Impressed with 21 assists and only 13 TOs, along with JJ's record night from 3. Not much from Glov & Scott overall--which is fine.
Looks like Eastern Tennessee on the road next, our 36th game--a school record.
Cluess 4-1 in the post-season. (KW was 0-3)
Appeared to me that the place was fairly empty.

Nice win, Jenkins was fantastic. This has become an excellent defense team. Too bad this is only CIT. I would say the actual crowd was about 1600.

JJ was feelin it tonight... thank god, because a number of others were fairly quiet. Why do I keep thinking if only he had two of those... oh well, that's baseball Susan. Hey, were in the Final 4 and we get to talk about basketball a few more days! Solid win, now lets go kick some Buccaneer ass!

Why does the name East Tenn. St. already suggest to me that we're in for a ridiculous home job. Are they in the same conf. as Norfolk St? Look for the Iona bus to get nailed in a speed trap also.

I thought the crowd was fine considering nobody from Buffalo attended. It was empty early but eventually filled to a decent level.
The gaels are a fun team to watch when they are firing on all cylinders. Will miss this group.

Not to jump a step, but it would be nice to play another Brad Doherty team. Did pretty well the last time.

St. already suggest to me that we're in for a ridiculous home job. Are they in the same conf. as Norfolk St? Look for the Iona bus to get nailed in a speed trap also. ETSU is in the Atlantic Sun(Belmont, Lipscomb, Mercer, Stetson), was in the Southern Confernce but had to move due to removing football.

I hate it when they call us "Iowa." Jimmy V. hated to play teams with a "direction" in their name. He really hated playing the ones with two directions. How about giving us some insights on your team?

Their athletic center looks a little larger than ours...

Mea culpa; I got to admit I felt similar to what Borden expressed in his article, and I was probably the least enthusiastic member of this forum when Iona decided to participate in this tournament. Being able to play this late into March is wonderful, and having a home game on March 22 was also great. I'm doing a complete 180; and have to admit I'm loving this.

Our athletic center is our old football dome- we seat almost everyone on one side, except for some wooden bleachers on the other sideline. Sightlines are a little strange for some teams, as its a bit weird to have one side empty, and a football dome as your backdrop.
Our team is talented, yet sometimes gets outcoached. We rely very heavily on two guys, Justin Tubbs and Mike Smith. If they are on, we are very difficult to beat. Againt Ohio, Tubbs had 27 and Smith had 24. If they are having off nights (and Justin Tubbs often does), almost anyone in the country can beat us. If you get a chance to watch the game online, we can be entertaining. Tubbs has had the number 1 play on ESPN twice this year for two 360 dunks.
