Per the Recruit Scoop. Don't know where he's looking to go instead. First step may be to study hall, as his chances of getting through the NCAA Clearinghouse are virtually nil.

So be it; if he can't qualify, it is what it is. Wish him the very best.

Too bad. Hard to really measure exactly what this will mean as his eligibility was so uncertain.
Love to see this staff get involved with David Samuels... do it for the oldtimer!

I like David Samuels also. I think he should stay close to home.

Best of luck to him. In the long run this may be in the best interests of both parties.

Keep in mind that IW had qualified on his SAT, and was waiting on the Clearing House to approve a couple of courses. Did they deny them? Does anyone know? Makes sense why we've offered Oliver (?).

That's too bad. The kid's gonna miss one hell of of a ride next year! Oh well, that's his loss. Maybe our post-season run will make us attractive enought to another high profile recruit looking to make his mark in the NY Metro area?

Bummer, as it appeared he had major skills, but now it is time to move on.
Maybe Grasso can pull off another late addition like last year?
We still need a Big. While I am confident the combination of Sean, JJ and Trinity will make up for graduation of Rah but I do have major concerns as to who fills Arod's position - at this point I'd say a combo of Pelch and Randy, when Cluess goes small. While Arod's stats are not eye popping, he plays solid post defense and takes a lot of pressure off Glover on the defensive end. My fear next year is Mike gets into early foul trouble because he asked to defend the opponents best post player because Pelch isn't athletic enough and Randy just isn't big/tall enough (please note this is not a slight on these guys).

Earlier in this thread, ghost had wondered where IW would end up. Apparently it is between Marshall and UTEP.

We have plenty of guards and we have Glover. If Jayon James develops his upper body a bit more he's a power forward. We need to replace Alejo and and give Mike some air. We have all the other pieces for next year. We'll have lots of holes to fill the next.

Right...Forget Jayon. I can see that; he is a big bodied kid.
It is a shame we burned his red-shirt.

Word is Iona had like 4 kids in for visits this weekend, mostly bigs, including one who was described to me as in the mold of Glover. I do not believe any of them are allowed to be at Wednesday's game.

I think we all might want to take a breath here and relax. This staff, considering they have only been together for less than one year, already have an amazing track record for recruiting. They know our needs better than any of us. And they have proven the ability to fill those needs - AKA Sean Armand. We'll be just fine - we have a team in place to finish this season with a tourney victory and the people in place to light up the college basketball world next season. GO GAELS!
