Pure speculation, but we may be holding out for this kid. Grasso had him locked in at Fordham and he was going there had Grasso got the job.

I had heard that as well. It would be a good get for us. He had some visits planned but have not heard of him as signed anywhere yet.

Tau...Just in case you are on to something, please if you can a profile on Major-Major....Heigth--weight--high school and stats etc.....I remember seeing it in a post on either this or the Fordham board, but can't seem to find it....The silence on this kid is strange...

A answer to where is Majok may lie here....He had a severe ear infection the required surgery. It also prevented him from flying....He was cleared to fly early this month, and will make visit to Georgia Tech...Oklahoma...and Valparaiso.....I believe he has made visits to Fordham, Fairfield and Siena.......Fordham was in contention until Grasso left..... Siena and Fairfield now appear longshots......
Is it possible that we are waiting for him to complete his allowed visits and decision, and this is causing the delay in any signing.....
Purely hopeful speculation.....

I asked about this young man last week. As I recall from the Fordham board he has vg academics and had conditionally verballed to Fordham depending upon Grasso being named HC. Don't know if this was legit or not - it was posted on the Fordham board at one point.
There are a couple of videos of him on the MAAC board. He's athletic for sure.

This kid is quick and athletic. I would like to see what he has away from the basket, and everything on the video was to his right. From that video, he is an excellent Post candidate. Can't tell if he can give us what we need from the 4. |
