When Barry Rohrssen came to Manhattan, he came with a reputation as a great recruiter, but prior to this year, he didn't live up to his rep, Rico Pickett, non-withstanding. Well this year he seems to be trying to make up for lost time. I believe he's brought in six newbies with the latest being a 6'7 shooting guard from Norway. It certainly gives Jasper fans a reason for optimism, and the coach a reason for a contract extension. JMO.

I didn't think he had that many spots available, but this kid from Norway supposedly had interest from some larger schools. Manhattan with so many new faces will have many questions, we'll have to wait and see if these kids pan out. Maybe it's because they're the core four of the Maac, but I always like to see MC, FF, SPC and Iona succeed. Iona having the most success of course.
