I know its too early but boards have been slow lately and of course it only matters who finishes the games, but for arguments sake
With Momo
PG-Machado SG-Jones SF Smyth PF-Glover C-Nyandigisi Moikobu
Without Momo
PG-Machado SG-Armand SF Smyth PF-Glover C-Nyandigisi Moikobu

Would love to see Trinity or JJ hang around for another year!

One thing we can't forget is that the staff is absolutely gushing over Rashard James.
With the dearth of backcourt talent, I would not be shocked to see Iona play a lot of FOUR guard, never mind 3-guard.

Minutes have a way of working themselves out. With all this depth at guard, minutes will be earned in practice, and thats a good thing. Remember, Dwight's 25 minutes will be available, and I could see Scott and JJ playing a little less. Maybe Scott was a little burnt out playing over 30 minutes a game all year. by the time the playoffs came around. I also agree that 4 guards will see the floor at times, but no matter how to slice it, this has to be the deepest Iona team I have seen in 30 years. Can't wait to see this squad hit the floor!

This is so true. It seems every year I worry about how the team is going to be able to spread the minutes around and every year one guy gets hurt, another is academically ineligible, another transfers, a new guy isn't quite ready for d-1 minutes and all of a sudden you need everyone on the roster.

If there are 3 guards on the court the 3 I want to see are Machado, Jones and James. I think Armand is the best shooter of all so he would be my 4th guard. He could have a breakout year.

MoMo and Rashard will hopefully bring the ability to finish in the lane. With the exception of Scott, 3pt shooting is the strength of our returning guards. As most of us witnessed, guards missing layups was extremely costly in our losses to St. Peters and Santa Clara.
