Playing Fordham AT ROSE HILL next season. Knowing full well they have absolutely no chance of losing that game.

Guy, this is a VG game for Fordham. There is always a chance that you can win a home game, and even if you lose, it's not a surprise. Gaston had 32 points, last year, against SJU, and FU has to be better this year (can't be as bad as last year). IMO, SJU is taking a BIG chance with this game. If they lose, fans will be all over Lavin for even scheduling the game. FU does need a D1 PG, to climb out of the 300+ RPI pack. JMO.

Maybe I spoke too soon. Just saw, on Goodman's Blog, that FU has lost their top assistant, Van Macon, to Rutgers. He's going from being Pecora's number one to Rice's number two, although in a higher conference. I thought he was FU's recruiting coordinator. A big hit for Nat U. JMO.

Fordham will be only marginally better. St John's will likely be a little better. Fordham has NO CHANCE to win this game. No question it's great for them to host it, but they're only getting that opportunity because they're awful.
