They won all of their games against pretty good competition. The newcomers seem to be having an impact.

Good year for them to qualify for an exhibition trip with all the changes they have had, I expect them to be a significant opponent for Iona in the Maac. Matter of fact; if they didn't have the coaching change they'd be overwhelming preseason favorites. That Wade kid concerns me, I wouldn't be surprised by years end he's their best player.

They wouldn't be overwhelming preseason favorites--the teams would be viewed as fairly equal had they kept patchhead.

Unless Momo gets his waiver by media day; Fairfield will be the favorite in the preseason coaches poll. If Cooley had stayed; IMO they would have gotten 8 out of 10 votes; and that's overwhelming. What's more concerning is Johnson may prove to be a much better coach than Dawg; however if Momo gets his waiver this conference should be Iona's.

A first-year coach won't get picked first.

I will go on record and guarantee that Iona will be picked first.

I think Iona takes the conference, but as far as the preseason coaches poll goes, no Momo and their picked second behind Fairfield; mark it down.

If I didn't drive to every home game, I'd be shooting for 3 or 4; but 1 sounds good to me
