SID,
I’ve been having problems accessing the upgraded ICGaels.com site. My son, a Computer Geek, explained to me that the reason is the computer system I am using has Internet Explorer 6 and Chrome which is preventing clear access to the ICGaels.com site.
I have another computer at home that has Internet Explorer 8 and the Iona site comes in fine. It’s also great on the I Pad.
My son is going to upgrade my original computer to Internet Explorer 8 so I should be OK.
What about the people that do not have a Computer Geek around, can you do anything at your end to make sure the Iona site is being received properly by everyone?

Your explanation is a good one for many--the Internet Explorer (or whatever browser you're using) may just be too out of date for all the bells and whistles of the site.
Also, ICGaels now has an app for Droid (and Iphone I think?). I downloaded it yesterday and played with it a little. VERY VERY COOL.

SID, I’ve been having problems accessing the upgraded ICGaels.com site. I asked my development contact at Neulion about this question and here's his response: In regards to IE6, that is actually a browser that our development team no longer supports. It has issues displaying transparencies among other things, so it is possible that’s what the fan was running into. They will need to have at least IE7, and preferably IE8 in order for development to take a closer look at any issues. I believe most browsers prompt auto updates these days, so hopefully most fans will be ok, but there are obviously some cases where that doesn’t happen.Basicially, Guy is correct, Internet Explorer 6 (which came out in 2001) is slowly being phased out by most of the newer websites out there as they are taking advantage of technologies that are available in the newer versions. I haven't run into any issues with Chrome and my Neulion contact hasn't heard anything either. I'm a Chrome user cause I think it's better than Internet Explorer and faster and more "light-weight" than Firefox.
