Assuming Coach Leichner was largely responsible for this recruit. I think in the future we will be more involved with foreign players as the pipeline gets established.

It's poor that we don't know who's leaving. Why is it such a secret? Someone posted seemingly very confidant that Bebis and Robinson are gone. Oh, I know that, and the names. But every other D-1 transfer is listed as leaving and it's posted about on Twitter. It's not a crime to transfer, so why are ours not being reported like all the rest. There will be 800+ transfers this offseason and we will see reports about 797 of them.

So 3 are leaving. Leaves one more to add.

We are without doubt one of the most secretive programs in college basketball...(Hand error last post...Continuing)...I don't like it, but see the value of it in certain signees...The signee from Ireland is a prime example...We may have found a diamond in the rough, andv feel positive that he needed to be

Is Blount getting a scholly or is he a walk on? A LOI must be accompanied by an athletic award letter which lists the terms and conditions of the award. If he is signing a LOI he will be on scholarship. Walk ons do not sign LOI's.

Is Blount getting a scholly or is he a walk on?[/quote] Ctbill.....I doubt any player of his caliber or potential is a walk on...I suspect that some of our secretive ways were directed his way...We may have found a 'Diamond in the rough'...Somewhere across the ''Pond'' there is a diligent Iona scout of sorts doing his job very well... Watching film and studying his history, he appears to be tailor made for Cluess type basketball...He is a growing 6-7 and aggressive rebounder... As to the 7-2 player...Had a call from a person close to Iona basketball over the weekend inquiring about my welfare...I tried to break through the impregnable Iona wall of silence and asked 'How are we doing with the big boy'...I further added that the consensus of this board gave us about a 30% chance...He laughed and said 'Not a bad guess''
