Iona gets LOI from Kristin Mahoney out of Woodlands, TX, according to tweets. She's a 5-8 point guard.

EP, is there any info on Kristin? There's a video of a game on Maxpreps.com. Go to G Basketball then video and search for Woodlands.

I think Joy Adams finished with 15 points and 15 boards. Haley was also in double figures. As for our new recruit, I have a friend who lives in Woodlands, Texas and he tells me that the Woodlands girls team is very good. According to him, Kristin plays off guard and their point guard is going to Arizona State. I'm assuming she'll convert to PG at Iona. As for Pacific, they were great last year, with 25 or 28 wins and went to the tourney. Don't know who they had left from that team, but the Iona announcers said this was a very good win.

New coach Billi Godsey is using her bench very sparingly. Should we be reading anything into this? Or is it as simple as she feels that you bring along newbies slowly?

Bowling Green, which defeated Iona, 51-50, I believe, knocked off Niagara, 90-58. Of course our game was in New Ro, while Niagara played them on the road.

The couple of game clips I saw Kristin was collecting dimes.

Is Damika hurt? I see she hasn't played in the first half of the Wagner game.

Is Damika hurt? I see she hasn't played in the first half of the Wagner game. Reports had her sitting due to breaking team rules. Wagner Seahawks @wagnerathletics 3h WBB: Iona's leading scorer, guard Damika Martinez will not play tonight..."violation of team rules."
