Let's face it, Kansas would beat several NBA teams that I can think of. No they wouldn't. Not even once.

A little exaggeration to make a point is fine. That said, I would not be shocked to see the Knicks lose a game like that. I've watched most of their games this year and they have no heart.

No game notes for tonight's game yet? Maybe SID is just honoring Ct. Bill's request I'll tell you one thing if Iona wins tonight better hold future game notes till tip off! Go Gaels!!! LOL Ghost. Gonna be a long time before I live this one down. Look all I'm saying is that a school like Kansas has a ridiculous advantage over us in terms of resources. If we keep this game under 20 in their place, that's an achievement to be proud of for a school our size. I'm just loathe to help them out even in the tiniest degree. And I'm talking about the kind of post where a poster gives a "current state of the team in a quick couple of paragraphs post." Of course I don't think Self et al scout based on message board comments. I myself would look for easy info where ever I could get it. And It's easy to tell which posters know what they're talking about. Maybe it's just the lawyer in me. I don't like volunteering any information. But enough on this.

We beat them once under Valvano, we can beat them again. 74-70 Iona.

I hate reading Sean say he expects us to win (Zagoria blog), I know he is just trying to be positive, but you just don't want that to get out to Kansas, we don't need them to have any extra motivation. Reminds me of pre Ohio State. Goes to show you the difference between fan bases. Kansas fans are secure. They're not flying off the handle at this comment like Ohio State fans were. OSU fans were a bunch of insecure dopes.

Anyone remember what the point spread was in 1980 when we knocked off Louisville? I believe we were near 18 point underdogs for both Louisville and Kansas at MSG in 1980. No respect.

Sean, Isaiah and A.J. need to be hot from the three if we are going to give Kansas a run.

OK, Gaels, enjoy your time in Lawrence; play up to your potential; stay loose; and stand tall. We are all behind you! Go Gaels!!!

Sean, Isaiah and A.J. need to be hot from the three if we are going to give Kansas a run. All 3 looked pretty good in the shootaround! Hope it keeps up when there are people yelling & screaming.

Sean, Isaiah and A.J. need to be hot from the three if we are going to give Kansas a run. Agreed! We will also need DL and Poole to squeeze a bunch of boards. I'll probably be loitering in the chat room if anyone is around.

Z-Man always has the right metaphor. A smooth stone to the nads should do the trick!
