I have no idea what Amayo tweeted, but I would think it would be out of frustration. The NCAA screwed him. I really thought they would make him eligible and just take a year away from him after the games that were played at his prior school. Just hope he takes the same approach as Laury and uses the year to work on his game and keeps his grades in order. He is going to be a major player at Iona next year

Amayo will be fine. He will be killing next year and he knows this will be his chance to shine.

This might help ref. Amayo......To the best of my recollection at the end of the George Mason game.....I was sitting my wheelchair and in my usual spot waiting for the crowd to thin out...As the players past most stopped to and say hello...One player not in uniform stopped to shake my hand...Not recognizing him, I asked him name and he answered ''AMAYO'' ...I told him we were glad to have him aboard and I heard and read that he was a hellava player...He gave me a big smile and answered ''I can't wait''...Nothing at that time gave any indication of doubt...In my observation I noticed he had a body that might be hard push around...

He had a tweet to Isiah Williams that basically said there were more important things than basketball and maybe it was time to forget basketball. He followed that tweet up with several positive tweets and it looks like he may have deleted his negative tweet as I can't find it anymore. He also greeted me at Meet the Gaels with a big smile and seemed like a very nice kid with just the few words we exchanged. Has to be tough to sit out this long and hopefully he can remain positive as I also think he will be a big part of next years team.
