Iona could be the best 3 point shooting team in the country. 16 3's new record, make that 17

I see we have the home court advantage in foul calls as well. What gives with that?

Iona could be the best 3 point shooting team in the country. Thank God we made them tonight or this could have been a major league nut cutter!

I fully expect this to be an ugly win for us. One where we take the foot off the pedal a bit, don't have the same intensity as we did the last few games, but somehow win in a real ugly fashion by 5-10 points based on pure talent alone. It's only normal that these games happen a few times in a season, the important thing is just to get out of the building with a W. Accurate prediction! The 3 saved us tonight. Hopefully the team can get this free throw drought figured out.

Like to hear a recap from someone who saw this live. 3 point shooting was great. Foul shooting terrible. I have the impression that the team wasn't completely up for this. Nice to win by double digits at home, even if the opponent was 0 for 7.

They didn't win by double digits. They won by 9.

Seems like a sloppy game for Iona. Weak opponent. Great 3 point shooting. But 15 TOs and very bad free throw shooting kept this a lot closer than it should have been.

Nice to win by double digits at home, even if the opponent was 0 for 7. The 3 pointer saved us tonight. Free throws were awful (especially DL). Defense and rebounding was good in the first half and awful in the second. Some sloppy passing and we lost many boards, which were not secured. Also Marist scored a number of lay up's in the second half (ole defense). All in all I'm pleaded with the win but we will need a more aggressive D to compete with Fairfield on their court.

Let's hope the team was just looking past Marist, because they've played better than they did tonight.
Hey, last year or the year before this is the type of game we lose as a WTF, so the team is still making progress.

Watching BC vs Purdue. Both teams look weak. Wish we had either one on the schedule this year.

I figured we wouldn't have much in the tank for this game. Sounds like we survived on the three ball. Good teams win when they struggle. With Lewis and Kemp, Marist isn't as bad as their record. Lets get some rest and beat Fairfield.

Midway through 1st half we built up a 12 point lead....Sledge enters...English out...Marist goes on a run and brings it back to a 2 point game as Iona does not score...English re-enters...Sledge out...Iona goes on a run to a 12 point lead...........English finishes the game with 13 assists...It is clear we are not the same, nor a very good team without him. There is a place for Sledge, but it is at this point of injury return more of quick rest period sub.........
Marist played well and showed signs of progress.....We scored 51 points with 3 pointers...
