It frightens me that we gave up 92 points to Niagara.

Have to like Hines production today for a freshman big. 50% from the field, 50% from the three, 66% from the line, 12 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in 18 minutes of action. I like it. I like him, I like the better mix of transfers and direct admits.

It's comforting to know there's a D1 team that plays defense worse than us.
Let's not look back and continue the momentum to blow through this conference.

Hines will get better and better and I wish nothing more than that Robinson will catch up to him.
A passing clinic v. Niagara!

To paraphrase the old Dinah Washington song, "What a Difference a Game Makes"
Prior to yesterday's 118 point outburst, Iona ranked #46 in average points per game at 79.9; now we rank #20 at 83.1 ppg.
Previously, we were #16 in assists per game at 16.8; now we are #7 with 18.3 apg.
In addition our field goal percentage climbed from 47.5% (64th) to 49% (24th).
Hopefully we will continue to improve on all these stats as we play our MAAC conference games.

I was At the. Game and it was a beautiful display of offense.....couldn't have played any better....118 points! So much depth for a mid major....I am convinced we can win the maac tourney and get our third straight ncaa appearance ...doesn't mean we will...but we can...
