Home court and hopefully students out in force keep the momentum going against Canisus on Friday. Hoping we heal up and get more minutes out of Tavon pressuring Billy Baron. He is the key. I know he is looking forward to the uptempo. Need to not let him get his rhythm and confidence going. Maybe what we did to Anthoine Mason we can do to Baron. Keep it going boys. Let's another MAAC win.

Oops! Posted via iPhone while watching Denver vs San Diego. Please restart thread with correct spelling. Thank goodness my degree is not from Iona to prevent degrading the institution. My apologies.

Rocket science MAAC schedule makers have Iona hosting Siena at 5pm smack in the middle of the AFC championship. The game should be a noon start, at worse 2PM, but to be extra dumb they move game to 5PM, instead of usual start time.

Most likely to give us recovery time after our late TV start v Canisius at 9pm on Friday, ESPNU.

You are probably right since they have done this before but this is Ridiculous, these are 20 year olds, 3-5 hours doesn't matter, they should be able to play the next day.

I think Bill meant it literally. To give us (the fans) time to recover.

Watch the game on your lap top (with volume) and have the tv on in the background with the AFC Championship (without volume). Problem solved.

Just think Iona/MAAC should never try to compete with the NFL, you should treat championship Sunday similar to the Super Bowl.

Just think Iona/MAAC should never try to compete with the NFL, you should treat championship Sunday similar to the Super Bowl. Dates are dictated by the conferences. Non-TV times are on the home team. There are usually MAAC games on Super Bowl Sunday, the difference this year is that it being in New York, I believe travel for the Metro area schools was considered.
