joebird, the upset has to be someone worse than us beating someone better than us in a conf champ, not to many examples of conf that that can happen

If we win out, I think we get a 13. If we lose one during the season, we'll be fortunate to get a 14.

Win out and we are a 13 with an outside shot at a 12.
Lose one and we are a 13.
Lose two and we are a 14.
Lose three or more and we are a 15 with an outside shot at a 14.

Check out live rpi site, our rpi only falls to 100 if we lose all 4, basically we have all decent rpi games the rest of the way, road games never hurt your rpi and the manhattan game will help even with a loss, the worse game is rider home and that isn't bad. Basically our rpi is likely to get better, we are at least a 14. Heck oldtimer has a point about at large consideration should we run the table and lose in maac championship. It won't happen because we have no quality ooc wins but our rpi will be similar to all those on the bubble.
My gut says we either win the next 4 or we tie manhattan and it comes down to tiebreakers, basically we need Quinny to finish ahead of Canisius.
I think we are either a 13 or a 14, but we all know all this talk is just talk we have to win 3 in Springfield, and everything has to go right for that to happen, the mathematical odds are like 28%. When you look at it that way it's tough to talk seeds already but I know I am the #1 offender.

If we are fortunate enough to represent the MAAC, it's ALL match up's. For a small mid major team like Iona with a minimal inside presence, it is imperative to avoid the Big 10 teams like Mich St., Wisconsin, and Ohio St. These teams all have big, physical front lines. Best to take our chances against an SDSU, Michigan or Villanova type team. Remember, if we are a 13 or 14 seed, there may be only 2 of those 8 teams which match up favorably for us.
As "oldtimer" likes to use a number of racing analogies, we will need a bit of racing luck as far as the selection committee opponent goes. Would be nice to match up with a team without a dominant inside game and also wonder if it would be possible to be in the Thurs/Sat region. As my memory serves, we have alway played on Fri. Is this correct or am I in error? I guess that Orlando site looks like an Iona/ MAAC representative type site.
Harvard was playing New Mexico last year and we were paired up with Ohio State. Enough said!

I'm not sure if the MAAC tourney, in the past, was wide open at times, but this year I can't see anyone other than the Big Four cutting down the nets. Do you see a surprise team?

Big difference between the top 4 and the others. I think the rest of the field is 30 to 1. And no, I don't want to bet.

ESPN has us as a 14 playing Villanova in Buffalo in their latest bracketology I just saw that. Interesting match and site. If it was the case, imagine both teams would have decent fan support.
