Pretty sure that's dead on re Crawford. Funny he is claiming that he cut his list down to Rutgers , Iona , Monmouth & Seton Hall. From what I understand, Iona, Rutgers and SHU have all stopped recruiting him. I wonder if there are some issues surrounding this kid. Committed to Monmouth-assistant coach also played for Naclerio at Cardozo.

When all the other schools involved leaked info that they were no longer recruiting him... that is not a good sign.

This kid will be a distant after thought if we can finalize some of the prospects we are closing in on.

This kid will be a distant after thought if we can finalize some of the prospects we are closing in on. I am very happy with our current commitments for the class of 2016: Kai Mitchell - 6'6" PF Jalen McGaughy - 6'11" SG/SF/PF Jan Svandrlik - 6'7" SF E.J. Crawford - 6'5" SG/SF If they add another quality player or two, my head will explode.

Will hold my excitement on him. The others no question. Rich get richer.

Next years breakdown as of today. Did not include Amayo as we have not heard anything regarding his waiver request.
PG's
Combo Guards Schadrac Casimir - PG/SG Rickey McGill - PG/SG
SG's Jahaad Proctor - SG
Combo Wings Deyshonee Much SG/SF E.J. Crawford - SG/SF
SF's Jan Svandrlik - SF
Combo Forwards Taylor Bessick - SF/PF Jalen McGaughy - SF/PF
Bigs - PF/C's Kai Mitchell Ryden Hines Jordan Washington
If we end up with two scholarships I would like to see us land one true PG and another true SF.

My only question is whether CC can play PG.

My only question is whether CC can play PG. He handled the PG role very well at South Kent and averaged 3 apg even though he was splitting time with Tremont Water's who is a ESPN Top 100 recruit. Playing PG actually opened up Ced's ability to get to the hoop. He has had a year to adjust to the speed of the Div 1 game... I think he will do very well.

[My only question is whether CC can play PG.[/quote] Don't know how many of you happened to peruse as I do the various team forums...The one day last year that gave me the most chuckles in doing so was the day after early in the season when freshman Casimir scored 40 points against Delaware State... They were filled with..... Who the hell is he? Where did they get him? He was a local recruit? How do they do it? We might as well pack it in... On and on it went....I has a feeling he was some thing special last year at a pre-season practice...I was horsing around with most of the players when Cas came out of the locker room, asked for a ball and went out by himself and shot baskets...He had a look of freshman determination I had not seen in years... The best is yet to come.........

I do not believe that there is a limit for practice players. You can suit up 15 for games I think. We currently have one scholarship open.... if Amayo is granted the waiver. If he is turned down we have two scholarships open.

Couple of thoughts: 1. Iona05's concern about European players (Jan Svandirk) is valid, but I think he will work out. He will have been in the states for two years (Juco) and will be more use to our 'play' and being far from home. It is something to watch. 2. Last, or next to last, scholarship still up for grabs. Looking at Verbal Commits list of PG's we have targeted (and if we do get another PG, he probably won't be on their list), but I'm wondering if Devonte Green has committed? Is he Danny Green's brother?
