Slow day...This should start some strong controversy.....But it is IMO a reasonable question and one that may have to be answered........ We have at this point appeared to have filled out the 13 man roster........ A Hypothetical question.........A front court player with capable ability and good height becomes available....What player who has least team value should we find a way to drop if any.? Your opinion should be free of team favorites, but based only upon the ultimate season team improvement...... Some might say it is not the type question that should be answered on a open forum in fear of possible disrespect, but it is the type decision that coaches often make under similar hard circumstances.....

Hard to answer since haven't seen many of these guys but I would say one of the Europeans wouldn't end up coming.

The question was asked....What role will Sledge play this season?......The answer to that is obvious...He can play only one position on this team, that is Point Guard...There is no other position I can vision that he can possibly be asked to play...That being so, I see him as possibly the third or fourth option at that spot behind Casimir, English and maybe Amayo....His height plus limited performance has determined that...........
It has often been said ''He is in the doghouse'' That can mean many things...Is he there because of some perceived personal action or dislike or is that phrase use as a excuse for mediocre play...To then suggest that Cluess has limited his time to an issue other then the obvious is patently unfair to the Coach who has handled the situation IMO with much patience and consideration.....

OT.. I think Cluess wants to win... period. So if Sledge steps up to the plate I am sure that he will earn his time. I do not think Cluess puts people in the doghouse willy nilly. I am sure he has his reasons. With that said, no coach is infallible. Like any human being they make mistakes and can show favoritism to a certain player. As much as I loved MoMo, he was allowed to freelance and do crap that no other player would have been allowed to do. If they pulled a MoMo they would have been picking pine out of their ass for a couple of weeks as well as Coach Cluess size 13 sneakers. None of us are in the locker room. We do not see why a player might end up in the doghouse. Sometimes a player might even have exiled themselves from getting playing time because of work ethic... or low confidence, etc... We will see if Sledge makes the most of his senior year or not. It is up to him to earn the minutes... I for one am pulling for him.
