Guys.. don't jump to any conclusions regarding the scrimmage. They are usually broken into two or three sections and while a player might have scored, we have no idea if they did it against first, second or third string players. Lets wait and see how things go.

The scrimmage must have been a blowout, as Tony (Siena Admin.) is getting dizzy trying to spin the Iona scrimmage results. Follow this scenario: *Siena main board, someone asks about the Siena-Army scrimmage. Among others Tony answers that they are closed and more like a practice than a game. Tony goes on to say that info that is leaked is usually incorrect, making it sound that no info will be forthcoming. *Siena secondary board (non Siena BB) and someone posts about the Iona blowout. Now, Tony goes from these scrimmages being closed to knowing that Iona-Albany was very close, until Iona won the battle of the third stringers. And I have no idea how we could do that since it's been reported by numerous Siena fans that Iona only has seven players. Bottom line, there is no joy in Loudenville (Sp?) tonight.

Iona won comfortably. Bebis played the third half with lower tier players and carried the load.

Bebis has the size (his length makes it very hard to block his shot, similar to Shane Richards at Manhattan) to be a very dangerous three point shooter. How dangerous will depend upon how much work he puts into it, the way Sean Armand did. Doubt that he'll get much PT this year, but hope he gets enough to keep him interested. Under the right conditions I would think that he'll have a bright future.

Has there been any news on how the other MAAC teams made out in scrimmages/exhibitions?
