Fordham would have won, if they had Severe.

Just watched the worst basketball exhibition of the year...Fordham lost at home to 1-6 Maryland Eastern Shore by a half a dozen...They are poorly coached and have no rhyme or reason...I doubt they will win 8-10 games this year...The attendance was half full and no more then 12 to 15 hundred fans...
Paschall not bad but in no way could he help Iona...He is a half a step to slow for Cluess style...
It seems that Fordham is on the way up in football, but has lost interest in its moribund basketball program...

Ari Kramer @ari_Kramer 9m9 minutes ago And that's why you never miss when you can go up by 3. Jaspers just lost on a 75-footer after Richards intentionally missed 2nd FT. Unreal. Imagine Masiello's drive home tonight! No way he missed that shot on purpose. Just fell off the rim.

Disagree on Pascall he is poorly coached and looks to be a little out of shape. They had extra time together because of the Canadian exhibitions and yet the whole team looks like conditioning is an issue.

Manhattan did their best Iona impression, that was crazy, worse than any Iona loss ever. Bad night overall for Iona OOC, except G Mason but they beat a Maac team which is even worse. I have not made a comment on Fordham in decades, I am not sure why any of you even care, I was completely done with them the moment they didn't want to do home and homes anymore, their program is a joke and not worth even talking about, they deserve everything they are getting, shouldn't even be typing this- who cares!

Thank God it was Manhattan and not.................Siena. They would have to put JP into Witness Protection if the Siena fans thought that JP ordered an intentional missed free throw. The Jaspers can handle something like that, but not the Saints. The MAAC Board would have been the first casualty, and then they'd turn on Tony and his board. And I don't think that New Ro would have been spared their wrath. OT might have had to been called back to work. Again, thank God.

MAAC is absolutely terrible. 17-3 might be the worst we do.

Rutgers scores an amazing 18 points in the first half and follows it up with a scorching 8 points in the second half. At the end ushers had to go around the Barclays arena and wake people up and tell them to go home.

greg, you know your BB team is having a bad day when they are outscored by your FB team. And here is the final attendance figures (approx) in the NYC battle between MSG and Barclays. MSG wins with 5K+ over the Barclays with 4K+.

Don't look now but Seton Hall is undefeated. Could this be the year that KW gets his team invited to the Big Dance? Their IW seems like the real deal, and along with Gibbs and Mobley gives the Pirates their own version of the Big Three. JMO, but I think that they've moved ahead of the Johnnies. And related news from their message board, when a poster mentioned our 126 points in the Del. St. game and that they should play us, another poster responded that there was no upside to playing Iona (the old FU argument). That poster was attacked by multiple posts, asking him what he was talking about, since we are entrenched as a top 100 team.
