While I always looked forward to "that" game--particularly in Kennedy/Penders era--I don't see any reason to schedule them. Someone mentioned in an earlier post that we had one particularly great year when we beat them 4x. Agreed, Fordham has to prove that they have their act together before we schedule them. We should be trying to schedule Seton Hall, Hofstra, and St John's among the local teams. We have something to gain from playing them. We have nothing to gain from playing Fordham. If they get out of the D1 dregs then give them a game.

Your statement is precisely why St John's and Seton Hall won't play us.

Your statement is precisely why St John's and Seton Hall won't play us. Probably right, although their RPI will not take a hit by losing to us, or just by playing us. Their local rep will if they lose. Maybe Ensor and the MAAC will wake up and do something useful for the conference, like a CAA-MAAC challenge in the Barc or the Nassau Coliseum. Schedule Iona and Manhattan vs Hofstra and another strong CAA team. Would be good for both conferences.

There isn't a reason to play Fordham now. Let them get their house in order first.

If they drop down to the PL the new coach will feel duped. He'll have that feeling anyway once the LSD someone slipped him leaves his system - he acted like a man who just won the lottery at his presser.

That press conference reminded me of Bobby Bonilla's presser when he signed with the Mets back in the day. He may still have a grin on his face because he still gets a million a year from the Mets circus, but his smile was wiped away!

He still smiles!

Noticed Rothstein tweeting some OOC games recently. The staff is loading up the roster for next year. Any updates on the schedule?

Keep an eye out for a game at MSG, against a power team from a power conference, just a hunch!
