Hate that they come in desperate for a win and have not played since Friday, makes this tougher than it normally would be, we can not have a below average night and expect to win.

Joebird, I agree and would feel much better, if they were at least 1-2.

Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds. This game is as simple as that. Zaird Hearst is there only real offensive threat. their offense is throw the ball up to rim and then go get the rebound. Siena had control of the boards today, including 15 offensive rebounds.

As we approach the half way point of the season it seems to me that we are doing a better job (this year) of handling pressure than we did, last year. Last year, at least against Manhattan, we struggled quite a bit. Two things: 1. Do you agree? 2. Is this 'take' a kiss of death?
Stay tuned.

Evidence the MAAC is having a crappy year: Iona, at 84, is the only MAAC team ranked in the top 190 in RPI.

So this is the path to a shot a glory. It appears that after 35 years rooting for Iona, ICHoops has just realized we play in the MAAC and not the Big East. He's not into the regular season. Let's hope the guys are smart enough to realize this is David's last run. This is a chance to be the best Iona team ever. This is a chance to make a statement about how good you are and what you're made of. This is the grind to a championship and beyond. This is what professionals deal with, if you want to be a professional. Work hard, every game is meaningful, get yourself a championship and a decent NCAA tourney seed. Let's see how good you can be. It started yesterday. Now a short turn around. Let's have some fun at home and get after it.

I am encouraged by Cluess' increasing use of the bench. We had valuable contributions, not all of which are reflected in the stat sheets.
Against Q we need quality minutes from Hines and Dublin, especially on the boards. Laury will rebound (and score), but he needs help from those two and Isiah and AJ as well.
Just caught my typo and fixed it.

Chelse, not sure what your question relates to, but either way, David L. or underdog David will position themselves best for the future by taking care of business now, making some noise and making a run. Now's the time to put fear, disappointment, etc. aside and step up. LET'S GO GAELS. LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very odd line........It opened at Quinny being a 1/2 point favorite.....The first betting line shows Iona now a 12 point favorite...I have never seen that type of difference between opening line and first site betting odds...Other betting sites will soon post...I expect it will level somewhere between 9-11 Iona........

OT, just saw what you saw. Gotta believe it was in error in some way. Wonder if anyone got any bets in!
