Good win. Gaels keep rolling. Need to take the competition level into consideration, but all things considered, gotta be thrilled with the way we're playing lately. Can't help but notice the defensive effort, rebounding and team chemistry have all improved significantly over this stretch.

About 40 minutes before game time, ESPNU listed it as a black out in NY, CT and nothern NJ. It withdrew the wording just before game.

Dominant performance, Gaels starting to peak, imagine if IW can come back strong! Fairfield couldn't shoot but still impressive performance, nice to see Dublin contribute. Only negative was a few ugly plays very late by AJ ( why was he still in the game? ), but that is really nit picking. This team is starting to look like a team that can win an NCAA game or two, the hardest part will be sealing the deal and getting there. Like to win Friday to eliminate any hope of Manhattan winning regular season and preventing Iona hating NY media ( mostly the post) from jumping on the jasper bandwagon. Why 10pm, love to hear the reasoning behind that, obviously TV reason but why?

And Sherman on ESPN broadcasts. Instead of Sherman maybe we'll get Mr. Peabody on Friday.

Amayo, Ced, and Dublin combine for 46 of our 72 points.
If we get IW back, this team could be as close to the 1998 team as any. I would not rule out a 12 seed if we are fortunate to qualify.
Masterful job by TC in utilizing Dublin tonight. Perfect pace of play game for him to contribute. Really like that TC started him in the 2nd half. Clearly a result of the effort he gave in the first half. Also, I like how TC stuck with the zone defense in the first half, when it was clear that Fairfield was struggling to make an outside shot.
The game against Manhattan should be a war. I would put Amayo on Andujar and force someone else to beat us.

We did a great defensive job on Gilbert, and played very well offensively in the first part (15 minutes??) of the game. But after that seemed to play down to FF's level. AJ didn't look for his shot, and you have to wonder if that was by design. Do we want to give Manhattan something to game plan for (AJ as just a distributor)? And then have him put up 15 shots, or does TC feel we are at our best with AJ running the offense (w/o the six TO's), just as long as KA and CC are scoring the ball. DL seems to be the guy we can count on to put up 20 points, or close to it, even on a so-so night. Bebis, Hines and Muhammed must play better than they did tonight, if we are to win in Riverdale. Next two games will be a good test for DL as he goes up against two vg big men.

Hines looked like he was limping at one point. Hope he's ok. We need him.

We need the Hines who played against Marist, not the one who played against FF. He seemed nervous and missing that EASY layup didn't help. Nor did the missed open three pointer, that nearly broke the backboard.

Nor did the missed open three pointer, that nearly broke the backboard. Seems like both Hines and Bebis were a little lost last night when we went into Harlem Globetrotter mode. We won't have that luxury Friday night against the Jaspers. Thought on the bunny he got caught a bit behind the basket and rushed it, instead of sealing off the defenders with his body and drawing a foul.

Getting a bit nit-picky. Let's not panic here, Hines isn't the first one to miss a chippy. May be just an off night for both of them in a game they weren't needed in. I'm sure they are fine.

You really have to love the passion in this fanbase. We all want so badly to see the team succeed that we pick apart wins. :-) This was a very dominant performance and again showed a well-rounded effort with the scoring widely distributed. Yes, late in the game we got a little too schoolyard but the game was not in doubt then. The game at Draddy will be a war and these resilient Gaels are sure to be ready to go as will the Jaspers. Go Gaels!!!!

Looks like Amayo has solidified a spot in the starting line-up even when IW returns. Sed is reminding me a little bit of Rory Grimes (81-85). This kid is a steal and the next three years should be even more exciting.
