Looks like Amayo has solidified a spot in the starting line-up even when IW returns. Ced is reminding me a little bit of Rory Grimes (81-85). This kid is a steal and the next three years should be even more exciting. Agree on Amayo', but could also be a high energy 6th man. Rory was a pure point that scored a lot and assisted a lot. For now, Ced is really a 2 guard.

Remember all the good... he was a "rock solid" point guard for 4 years (starter from day one) and IMO the best PG in school history. Grimes won plenty of games for the Gaels. There is not enough space to post.

Just saying I hope Sed doesn't do the same. He should also stay away from fire alarms.

Grimes was a great PG. Loved the guy. Sometimes guys miss. That was 30 years ago. Time to move on.

Wish I could've seen Grimes and those teams. But I take Machado put in this way..if Grimes had Machado's height..NBA first round pick. Grimes was about 5'9-10.

I have noticed over the years that somehow Hargraves gets a pass and everyone remembers Grimes' misses. Hargraves missed not one but two front end of one and ones in the last minute and a half of the Virginia game and in the same exact situation as Grimes the prior year, Hargraves replicated Grimes miss to lose the NCAA game against Loyola of Chicago. These are just 2 of 7 extremly painful NCAA losses. As we get closer to NCCA play you always wonder whether this is the year we finally get our win/moment, or is it possible it will never happen?

Fair point - and both of them were all time great Gaels. Always in the back of my mind when we get to the NCAA tournament.

Tie high for me was the 3 point dagger from Janulis in 1998 as Syracuse broke our heart and in 2001 the non call foul as I believe Courtney Fields was driving through the paint and was clearly hacked in the final seconds against Ole Miss. Vivid memories.

Vivid memories. These were tough, but at least the other team had a hand in it. Missed free throws were us giving away the game.
