They look totally lost - who are these guys? They look completely unprepared and disinterested. Like St Johns in their NIT game last year. This is an embarrassment. Disappointed. This teams doesn't want to be there.

At least it finally dawned on Cluess to change up the D.

We've missed about about 20 points worth of FTs and bunnies.

The MAAC is a mirage. We get tricked into thinking we can compete. We can't, plain and simple.

The missed free throws are killer along with URI's transition buckets. URI's defense of rim very good with blocks and altered shots. Not a good performance tonight.

URI is well balanced and well coached. Iona is a one trick pony. When that trick doesn't work well, we get exposed.

People on the Seton Hall board are understandably weighing in on this game, considering that the two coaches have been mentioned as possible Willard replacements. Some of them also watched the MAAC championship, the only other Iona game they've seen all season. Some also remember that "BYU game a few years ago." Their impression is that Cluess doesn't coach defense and that they'd rather have Hurley. Not that it matters because Willard will apparently be back for year number six.
I suppose this is good for Iona and the MAAC, as Cluess will probably continue to win as long as he's in New Rochelle. Embarrassing for me, though, because I've been critical of Seton Hall on that board for being "afraid" to schedule Iona.

URI did what I thought they would with attacking the rim. Spreading the floor by extending the defense in first half was a mistake. An opportunity wasted.

Manhattan loses to 5th place MEAC team without its best player - stellar evening for the MAAC.

At least the Jaspers won't have to play against the prohibitive favorites. That's good because I would have been conflicted. After more than 40 years of rooting for Seton Hall, MAAC teams, and assorted other underdogs, I've decided to hop aboard the Kentucky bandwagon for this tournament. For once in my life, I'm going to find out what it feels like to root for the probable winner. Go Big Blue!

Another ridiculous ending to a promising season. I'm not falling for this shit next year. Not falling for it. The regular season means nothing and the first two rounds of the MAAC tourney means nothing either. It's all crap. And guess what, the MAAC will be better next year. Maybe we should finish 4th, that seems to work.

The MAAC is a mirage. We get tricked into thinking we can compete. We can't, plain and simple. Ditto. We saw the difference between the A-10 and Maac tonight. I know some of you think Hines has potential but he does not look like he belongs on the floor the last three games. Bad night overall for the conference.
