Khalid Moore - 6'6" SG/SF out of Archbishop Molloy. An athletic player who can shoot and get to the hoop. Plays with a lot of talent around him such as fellow Iona recruits PG Cole Anthony (Top 10 ESPN class 2019) and 6'10" C Moses Brown (ESPN 4 Star and Top 60 player) so I expect him to get lots of higher looks. Times Ledger All Queens Honorable Mention Has offers from Seton Hall, Hofstra. and Iona. Interest from St. John’s, Maryland and Florida.

Verbal Commits @verbalcommits 1h1 hour ago 2018 Archbishop Stepinac (NY) G Alan Griffin has received an offer from Iona. (HT @patlawless_) verbalcommits.com/players/alan-griffin … Alan Griffin - 6'5" SG Originally from Chicago. Averaged 19.5ppg and 6.2 rpg last season. High IQ... knows the game very well for a young kid. Sees the court well. Can shoot the ball very well and gets to the hoop. Plays tough on D and is always active. Was all-section as a sophomore at Ossining last season after transferring in and having to find his place on the team. His father is former Seton Hall star and NBA player, Adrian Griffen, who is currently an assistant with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Alan holds offers from Iona and Manhattan. I assume he will be the main weapon for Stepinac since Jordan Tucker has transferred to a school in Georgia and Aundre Hyatt left Stepinac for the Charlottesville (VA) Miller School.. Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) is Tuckers new school and they just had two other top 100 recruits join their program, EJ Montgomery (6'10" PF ranked 14th in the Class of 2018) and Terry Armstrong (6'4" SF ranked No. 18 on the ESPN 25 for the Class of 2019.).

Iona offers SG Raheem Solomon, from Sacred Heart HS in Conn. Plays AAU with the NY Rens. Like Iona86 posted in the Samson George thread, it would be great to develop a relationship with the Rens.

Raheem Solomon - 6'2" SG. He is ranked the #4 player in his class in CT by NERR. Strong and quick... amazing athlete. He can score in a bunch of ways and plays very well thru contact. He is considered a little brother to Raheem Solomon Top 25 (2015) Recruit Mustapha Heron who is at Auburn. He was invited to one of the Syracuse elite camps so they have shown some interest.
Preseason report "TOP 20 RETURNING PLAYERS 2015-2016 SEASON" by CT HOOPS NEWS - He was ranked 13th best player overall. C.J. Seaforth was 18th.
"- It’s not so often you see a player who was a 6th man the year prior make it into the top player rankings going into a season, but Raheem Solomon is a special case. Solomon has the chance to be one of the more dominant players in the state this year and in the years to come. Whoever was lucky enough to see him play in a limited role last year, knows how talented this kid is and how much potential he has. He should be moved up into the starting lineup this season, and if a team manages to shut down Heron, Flowers, and Fischer, don’t be surprised to see Solomon take over a few games. "

Iona has offered:
Courvoisier McCauley 6'4" SG Indianapolis Manual HS. Will be a post grad student prepping at Commonwealth Academy next season. As a Junior last season he averaged 26.7ppg which was fourth best in Indiana. Earned All City Indianapolis Firs Team. Offers from Chaminade, Kentucky State, Saginaw Valley State and Central State.
PHENOMNATIONHOOPS.COM - 2016 FINAL CHAPTER DAY 4 RECAP:
"McCauley He was an absolute scorer against RL9 in the team’s after session. He proved to be a legit slasher who takes contact and finishes consistently at the rim. He can bring the ball up as an extra ball handler to initiate the offense. McCauley did a good job rebounding the basketball. He plays with a ton of offensive aggression and confidence. He’s one to keep an eye on in the Midwest."
PHENOMNATIONHOOPS.COM - FIVE 2017 SLEEPERS STILL ON THE BOARD: "I promise you there may not be another guard so lowly recruited with so much upside and potential. A virtual unknown coming out of the spring, McCauley switched back to his original travel program in July with Indy EBC and started to generate attention at the eleventh hour with the likes of Drake and UMKC taking a look amongst others. A legitimate 6-4 guard with size, athleticism, and a big time scoring game that delivers from all levels, McCauley is a legit mid to potential high major off guard with the ability to catch and shoot at will and take over the game. This young guard is a sleeper in the truest sense of the word recruiting wise and with the right system and the right fit he will be an absolute steal of a prospect at the Division 1 level and the end result will be a lot of big time performances."
