Does anyone know if Iona is still recruiting Jamel Allen? Watched a couple of Indian Hills CC games the last two nights. Allen is really athletic, with a few highlight dunks. Really too bad he wasn't eligible this year. Off topic, but ex Siena player Kenny Wormley is playing very well for IHCC.
Iona has offered 6-4 combo guard Will Richardson out of Georgia, per his twitter.
Per Scout and his twitter, Richardson has scholarship offers from St. Louis, VCU, Georgia Southern, Georgia, Auburn, Florida Gulf Coast and UAB. He’s taken unofficial visits to Georgia, Auburn, Georgia Southern and UAB. Butler is on his high school campus to see him today. He scored 54 in a game the other night.

Kids a good player... looks like the late Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy.
One thing that I did learn at the post game reception was that former Gael, Mike Zona has a son, in HS (don't know which year), who is 6'10 and reportedly a good player.

If he's Matt Zona I believe he's a freshman at Bargen Catholic in New Jersy.
The Masters coaches had never seen Ndiaye play prior to his arrival, but they were immediately impressed, and for good reason. Despite his lack of experience, Ndiaye already has a developing shot and a soft touch and he can handle and pass the ball exceptionally well for a player his size.
"Most of his baskets are coming off of fast-break dunks, but he’s able to pull the ball back and make 3-pointers. From a versatility standpoint, it’s been amazing. He’ll do something else and you’ll snap your head, like, ‘Oh, that’s in your repertoire?’ '' Kammrath said.
Ndiaye posted a triple-double in his first game, a 46-28 win over Hopkins. He had 21 points, 14 rebounds and 12 blocks, and has averaged 23.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in the three games since. Ndiaye said that he wants to one day play like NBA star Anthony Davis, who has the skills to play any position on the floor.

PHENOMNATIONHOOPS.COM - 2016 FINAL CHAPTER DAY 4 RECAP:
"McCauley He was an absolute scorer against RL9 in the team’s after session. He proved to be a legit slasher who takes contact and finishes consistently at the rim. He can bring the ball up as an extra ball handler to initiate the offense. McCauley did a good job rebounding the basketball. He plays with a ton of offensive aggression and confidence. He’s one to keep an eye on in the Midwest."
PHENOMNATIONHOOPS.COM - FIVE 2017 SLEEPERS STILL ON THE BOARD: "I promise you there may not be another guard so lowly recruited with so much upside and potential. A virtual unknown coming out of the spring, McCauley switched back to his original travel program in July with Indy EBC and started to generate attention at the eleventh hour with the likes of Drake and UMKC taking a look amongst others. A legitimate 6-4 guard with size, athleticism, and a big time scoring game that delivers from all levels, McCauley is a legit mid to potential high major off guard with the ability to catch and shoot at will and take over the game. This young guard is a sleeper in the truest sense of the word recruiting wise and with the right system and the right fit he will be an absolute steal of a prospect at the Division 1 level and the end result will be a lot of big time performances."
Good friend--long time coach in Michigan-has seen this kid in person and was with me at Manhattan game. Thinks he would be perfect for our system--says he's a great kid.

Jalen Lecque 6'2" SG out of Monsignor Scanlan. Rated 3 stars by ESPN. Athletic, good motor, good handle, loves to dunk but needs to put on some more muscle IMHO. Gets to the hoop easily and likes to go at other good players. Can shoot the three especially off the dribble. Plays his best in transition. Can defend and generates steals. Holds offers from San Jose State, Rhode Island, Manhattan, Rider, Stony Brook and VCU. Has looks from Indiana, Providence and Miami (FL).
