Just saw on the MAAC board that we received a commitment from JUCO Dylan Van Eyck

See on Twitter that Anderson is visiting Fairfield next week.
2019 PG Glen Anderson just took a visit to D1 St. Peter’s of the MAAC. Coach Holloway is building something special over in Jersey City 💪🏾
With the combination bigs and guards we have for next season and the absence of Freshman that could be developed for the future, does this kid make sense? Just don’t see another transfer or JC player being added to roster. Option of course is to not fill the scholarship for 2019/20.
Thoughts?

If Washington already had his waiver approved, I would love to see the staff take a shot with this kid. I know some people that saw him outplay other PGS that have committed or have higher level offers. There still are a couple sit out and grad transfers out there that would be very good recruits. Will be interesting to see what the staff does

Question for one of the many posters with more insight than me: Read on verbal commits that two PG recruits "have trimmed their list and removed Iona from consideration.'' Do they have knowledge of Washington getting the waiver.

Don't know the players you're talking about but probably looking at higher level programs or quite simply just not interested in Iona for any other reason, but it's pretty safe to say they have no info on Washington's waiver

Do they have knowledge of Washington getting the waiver. Lohud story said we probably won’t hear an answer on the waiver until right before the season.

Some interesting transfer tidbits:
Dunn is visiting Siena and St. John’s and is also considering New Mexico and Arkansas. No mention of us.
Rheaquone Taylor got his release from Cleveland St. 6’7 Queens kid. We should take a look. Has a JW feel. Eligible now.
Abayomi Iyiola is leaving Stetson. 6’9. Atlanta kid, so would think we would be a long shot. Would have to sit a year with 2 to play.

Dunn I'm not really interested in. I believe Mcneil can contribute more than Dunn. IW, McNeil, Gist, Perez and Cashaw for the backcourt is very good. Don't see how Dunn fits in. Can even run Ross at the SG spot.

We’ve done really well with those undersized bigs like him.

Per Rothstein: Cleveland State transfer Raheem Dunn tells me he's receiving interest from Arkansas, New Mexico, George Mason, New Mexico State, Iona, Hawaii, and Utah Valley. Recently visited Siena. Will visit St. John's August 1st. #SJUBB
Guess we are involved a bit, after all.

Glen Anderson? Did we offer him? Contradictory information. Makes decision tomorrow.

Jon Rothstein @jonrothstein · 9m Hofstra's Omar Silverio has received a waiver from the NCAA and is eligible to play during the 2019-20 college basketball season, per release. Transfer from Rhode Island.
Good sign?
