I thought that 'practice' started in mid-October for Men's BB. But I recently read about an interview with Indiana coach, Tom Crean, who when talking about two of his injured players, said that they should be able to play, this Friday, when practice begins. Does anyone know the date?

Practice can start 6 weeks before a teams first regular season game. NCAA allows 30 practices during that span.

With the upcoming season in sight it is time to pray for good health for this team. Every team is just 1 injury away from being average. Best wishes to the players and coaches on the start of official practices. We anxiously look forward to seeing everyone on the court.

Hearing that Hines may not be back until late Dec and that Washington has knee injury which may keep him out for a while.

Super, I believe there was a Coaches meeting this past Monday at the University Club in NYC. Both men and women's coaches were supposed to be there and speak. I forgot all about it, but am wondering if you or others on this Board were there, and if anything newsworthy came out of it? Besides Washington's injury? Thanks.

OT, sorry about the lack of practice info, and it seems that there won't be a MTG this year. Though I'm hoping. Having a 15 man roster would seem perfect for a Maroon-Gold scrimmage, even if a couple of guys are hurt. Perhaps someone who is going to Meet the Coaches, next weekend, could make the suggestion. In order to help the OT, does ANYONE HAVE A TAPE OR DVD from last year's games? If so perhaps you could send it to OT. Or maybe SID could put some of the highlights on the Official Site, where OT (along with the rest of us) could get a BB fix. And remember OT, the first game is only 36 days way. Stay strong.

Very disappointed it appears there is no Meet the Gaels. It was a great way to get to see the players and judge for yourself expectations for each.
