Canisius wins, Monmouth wins. Is there any stopping the MAAC Attack?

Canisius wins, Monmouth wins. Is there any stopping the MAAC Attack? Certainly improving like the Gaels.

No, I think I read it correctly. If you had only listed the MAAC's rating your point would have been made. But, as they say in the movies, you made one point too many. I didn't make a point, I provided facts for individual interpretation. But feel free to believe what you wish.

Guy, weak response, more suited for the MAAC Board. Here, we know better.

MAAC Power Five (Thanksgiving edition); 1. Monmouth. Deserves top billing. I think they play Notre Dame on Thanksgiving. 2. Iona. Playing better, but still work to do. 3. Siena. The Saints have had a nice start to their season. 4. Canisius. McMillan and Valenti are very good players, and I believe both are lefties, and we usually don't defend the left hand very well (Lavon Long) 5. Rider. Rating based solely on their performance against Maryland.

Took care of a CAA team at home, although Delaware was missing a couple of pieces. 5. Rider. Nice effort against Maryland, the #3 team in the nation in a true road game. 0-3, though. This appears to be the top tier in the MAAC. Mid-tier 6. Fairfield. Seem to be putting it together. 7. St. Peter's. 8. Marist. Bottom in no particular order 9,10, 11 Quinny, Niagara, and Manhattan. Jasper are a mess right now.

I will paraphrase your explanation from 1st two games observations, "They're a mess right now and I dig that about them. Through hard work, discipline, and the desire to win we will come out on the other side of the storm."

That was me not panicking after two bad performances on the road. Can't complain about the Staff and team losing its composure if I'm losing my composure after two games. To reiterate why I felt good despite the two losses. 1. Whether intentional or not we played a lot of guys early in the season. Can't not play a guy all season then throw him in the MAAC championship game or NIT and expect him to help. 2. I thought all of the new guys looked like they could contribute in a positive way. Yes the the group played badly as a team, but again I'd rather play badly now than in March. Kind of like the Woman's National Team that won the World Cup, I don't want to peak in the first game. I want to peak when it counts most. Maybe Monmouth is peaking too early? Possible.

I will let it go now. I will just never understand that when the team you love and feel will have a great season gets absolutely destroyed in every way, you are happy about it. Just doesn't make any sense to me. I think this team will be very good but I was unhappy about getting destroyed by two good teams. I will move on.
