CBS Sports has Iona at -10, like Sportsbook, and the over/under at a very high 165.5.

Valpo and Oregon State are in the rear view mirror. Lessons learned. Now is the time to be fast and furious, no hesitation. Pressure Delaware on D and attack on offense to find that pace that team practices at to re-establish confidence. Roll fresh bodies onto the floor to maintain the pace. Expecting the team will be fired up to play in front of their fans on the friendly confines of home court. After two demoralizing losses on the road we will find out who the emotional leaders of this team are tonight. Those leaders cannot, will not let, just give up. Looking to Isaiah to set the tone. LET'S GO GAELS!

We are the more talented team tonight which is when we excel. no excuses about anything after this game if we lose. i expect a double digit win like we usually have against inferior teams at home, if not we are not who we think we are.

Who cares what the point differential is. Just play well, show improvements in the areas that we were exposed in in the first two games, and most importantly get the win.

We should win comfortably, but would not be surprised if it was a close game. We had a bunch of tight home games last year in games that we thought would be easy wins. Also, when we were 8-10 pt underdogs against Valpo and Oregon State everyone thought we had a chance. Why wouldn't the same apply to Delaware when they're an 8-10 pt underdog against us?

When you ask "if we are any good" are you asking about now, January, or March? Or are you implying that teams are static and what they are today is what they are for the entire season?

I'm leaning toward I70's take. We really should win this comfortably, and if it's a nailbiter, I will have concerns about how we'll fare this season on the whole. Yes, we should get better as we go, but so will everyone else.
Side note, that was mentioned by of all people Saintly Saint on the MAAC board: has any Cluess team seriously gotten stronger and stronger as the season progressed? His teams are not steady improvement types as much as sharpening the system types.

I hope no one is thirsty at halftime, as the poolside reception is no more. Actually, I don't mind that, as it seemed I always missed a couple minutes of the second half whenever I went to that reception. We should hold a reception in the second stall from the bathroom door.

That would solve the problem for sure, since the rumor is that the receptions got moved from the pool deck after complaints of participants pissing in the pool.

Have not posted for a couple of days...Flu bug big time...Could not seem to fight it off in a day or two as I usually did...Doc's visit and pills big help...The teams results and performance did not help... We were not clearly not ready to start the season against two tough foes 3 thousand miles from home...I am true believer of starting off with one or two easier at home games especially this team with its aprox. 5O% new members . With that in mind it was clearly a scheduling error of large magnitude and may be hard to confidence wise shake off...Hopefully our game tonight will right the course... That will help me to recover in health and you will have to put up with me a while longer...
