Willie Mays? Ted Williams? Super, Willie Mays did win a World Series. Agree with your point though Guy said " bunch of titles." Come to the Willie Mays shrine in my office anytime! (Includes ball he signed for me on 8/17/54; autographed copy of a photo of "the catch," and a photo of me & him in SF.)

Willie Mays? Ted Williams? I clearly said "generally" above. Hard to include "absolutely" and generally" in the same descriptor--generally.

I cannot at this time at this time put A.J. in Iona's all time top 5 but he is a long way from what 1970's (when he wants to be great) vendetta makes him to be...But to post that he plays great only when he wants infers a selfish lazy attitude that A.J. has never shown...The postings shown by 1970 reveal more then a statistical and display but a general unfair dislike for A.J...

My girlfriend was no impressed. Circa 1973.

How can we? The top 3 we all seem to agree on all had nice NBA careers. Do you have Machado in your top 5 No. Would put him 6th.

I clearly said "generally" above. Hard to include "absolutely" and generally" in the same descriptor--generally. Fair point. But if i were to delete one it would be absolutely. Generally covers the exceptions, which i knew existed, across sports. My initial point is intact.

He is selfish when it comes to defense, he lets his guy go by so he doesnt foul and others step in and get fouls they shouldn't that is selfish Against manhattan instead of getting out of the way he stopped a layup and it set the tone of defense early On defense he is in the lane most of the time and just switches on evrry cut which leads to wide open shots Watch any tape gou have and i will bet my 100 to your 1 that if you give it an honest look that is what you will see Great players play both ends of the floor

I think that the Top Four are fairly easy to call (see above), with the fifth open to debate. But if I had to put a team together, my fifth would be the guy that I consider the best "all around" player, Tony Hargraves.

Don't forget he was on the team that made the dance in 12-13, and would've played a key role had it not been for mid season injury. Believe that is the same amount of tourney teams that Burtt Sr played on. Your embarrasing yourself, aj was a small part of that team as a frosh and didnt play many games Kirksay machado, guerrin, ruland, burtt, kirksay and machado next would be burtt jr didnt see some of the older guys play so i admit that machado would probably get bumped by at least 1 more older player, and listening to others top 5 there might be 3 or 4 candidates for top 5, which leads to my point aj is arguably top 10 not 5 and everyone goes nuts
