As an Iona fan, I wanna say; I love the MAAC, I don't want Iona to play in the Big East or A-10 and have the utmost respect for 10 other schools in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. King Rice was gracious and showed a lot of class as the game wound down. GO GAELS!!! I thought the same thing about Rice until I heard that he went into the stands after a fan last night. Not sure if anyone can confirm if accurate or not.

Congrats on the FOURPEAT ~ ! I agree, Ensor should be applauding IC for their excellence, not dishing them. Why did ESPN push the MAAC back to 9:00 PM on the "ESPN2", while the Soconn Title game was on at 7:00PM? How did Ensor screw this one up? Let's hope Cluess sticks around for another year or two.

Rice went 20 rows about 20 minutes after the game while the celebration was going on and came back out a 2nd time 10 minutes later, both times restrained by security and POLICE.I was on the court and in the tunnel Ensor was trying to calm him down,I saw and watched him curse out Ensor like I couldn’t believe,3 Monmouth kids were in the tunnel trying to get back on the court but police had their shields put and they couldn’t get past, great celebration and Rice completely lost it.

WTF!? This guy has serious anger management issues. This is at least the second time he's went into the stands to confront fans after a loss. Not to mention all of his other antics through the years to instigate brawls, bench mobs, etc.

Did anyone notice Gary Cohen(mets announcer) standing behind McGill at the post game interview ?? He had the national radio call for Westwood One. He usually handles the MAAC title game for them, and always comes to me for last-minute prep with both teams. Cohen is also the radio voice for Seton Hall. Maybe he was scouting the Gaels!

Many have said that Gist should have been tournament MVP, at the very least made the tournament team. I agree. He did an absolutely incredible job taking care of the ball this weekend. 3 turnovers for the entire tournament is amazing especially when you think about how much time the ball was in his hands. His play in the semifinal and final prove to me he will be a huge part of next years team. If he can find a way to finish at the rim a little better (I don’t expect to grow) he will be first team all MAAC

Saw that, not the time to say it! I guess same as my thoughts on play in. What Iona has done is truly amazing! First ever 4 time maac champ. First team in metro area to get to 4 straight tourneys since seton hall in early 90’s and one of just 3 teams with 4 straight tourney championships (2 if Kentucky loses). The NY media needs to make a bigger deal about Iona’s run-as does the college basketball world. By the way I believe the Ny post did not even send a reporter to the Maac championship, first time ever, a disgrace!! I don’t remember if Howie was up there last year...except for Josh from the Journal News coming up tonight, the only regular Iona media this weekend was myself and Ryan from the Ionian. And AC on Big East Friday Saturday will make the Maac irrelevant, how Ensor didn't consider this a game changer when considering AC I have no idea. Huge mistake! the Maac will suffer from this for at least 3 years! Ensor must go!!

Good news/bad news. Asante Gist is playing the way I expected. Unfortunately, I thought that Still would be a little better than Gist. Don't know if Still's problem was a result of injuries.
Kudos to all the Iona fans who made the trip to Albany. You made a difference.

That is bizarre behavior for the losing coach to come out of the locker room multiple times to confront celebrating fans, only to be restrained by security? Strange, there has to be more to it.
