ichoops, I don't know how you could like the front court right now. It is a "hope" that these guys improve. I hope so too, but it was the weakest part of the squad and we are probably losing part of that hope with Keon's potential departure. Mike had a good start and hit a bit of the freshman wall mid season. We're going to run this year and Mike is well suited for getting up and down the court. |

Are any of these departures confirmed? NO! But that does not seem to stop the "vote off the island" syndrome of some in this thread. ;D With the surgeries, with the loss of two commits, with the POSSIBLE departure of Keon; our front-court is a question - even if we do sign additional help. Freshmen bigs take longer to develop. At this stage, I hope we are looking at a JUCO ala Alex Middleton. JUCO's are risky, but this team needs help this year. |

The college is prohibited from commenting on a student's status due to the federal Family Rights and Privacy Act. Comments must come from the student.
BTW, most of us ate; some drank! ;D

Keon was voted top 10 Bergan County NY players of the decade. He had some HS career.

That freshman achilles injury was a damn shame... and now the knee surgery.
Hope he fully recovers and makes the most of his remaining eligibility... wherever that may be.

In his high school career, Keon took on a bunch of to-be D1 players and did one heck of a job. Because of his injuries Iona fans never did fully see what Keon could do. And he is a really nice person! |

I guess it puts a nail in the coffin and the thread when someone isn't on the roster.
