I understand why we shouldn't mention the potential transfer but I don't know why a board like this can't mention who may be coming?

I am enjoying it, but this thread is begining to resemble a bunch of gossiping school girls at a pajama party sleepover.
My mind has made a few guessses about the "Big"....Hope its the one I am thinking of....

Trying like everbody else to make sense of it all....
If the "Big: is a transfer unless he has allready sat a year he can not play for us until 2011....Can't think of any that would fit that mold...
If the "Big" had made a choice, and has since decided to negate it, then it narrows the field....

I want to be clear on something--I am simply trying to protect MYSELF here, by not spilling the beans, simply because my sources asked me to not post specifics until a little more is known, which is expected shortly. But if YOU GUYS find out something, you are more than welcome to post about it.
Though Gael Fan and possibly others don't like when I "tease" info, what it does is open the doors for others to check with their own sources and find out what I've heard. And I am FAR from the only person out here with sources. Board is filled with them, actually.
To be honest, I'm surprised Tau hasn't gotten the potential newbie by now. Surely this is fodder for a dig from ICHoops? :-D
The potential departure is a different monster, however. Many of us had heard rumbings about player defections for quite some time, and now a couple have occurred. I simply heard that another is entirely possible--a specific player, that is. So that's why I posted it, as a "warning" that this kind of news may be coming.
Finally, if nothing else, all of this is message board fodder on a warm summer day. Outside of the occasional trickle of info from recruiting sites, things had gotten too quiet the past couple weeks. Though our two newest recruits seem to fit the system Cluess intends to run, they didn't create a ton of buzz out here. This potential new recruit will.

I guess it's "flight" or fancy around here. I prefer flying on a jet with major wingspan myself. I've never been to the islands but I hear the beef patties are to die for.
If we land the bird, I don't see McGill as all that necessary moving forward (fewer minutes). We have other guards I'd like to see at the 3 (jc transfer) and if we've landed this 4, I want to see him and McFadden fill the minutes.

Hearing rumors we may be losing another player, and also hearing we may be GETTING another player. Cannot go into details just yet, as neither is definite. Stay tuned. IF the new player works out--and that is a big IF--it will greatly help us out in the paint. I've also heard the same rumor. The one about "the big" is great news. I won't ruin it either especially b/c it's not finalized yet, but if we get him, along with A-Rod upfront. I think it will put us a step ahead of Fairfield for number one next year. Here's a litte hint: he's a real program "Transformer." ;D Now the player I heard was leaving, I was not as happy about  . My wish is that he stays, and that's all I'll say about that. Repeat: if you'd like to say his name, you are welcome to. I cannot, because I was asked not to. Unless you were as well? Maybe we have the same source, LOL. As an aside, I googled "transformer" and the name of the recruit and came up with no matches. So I wonder if we're actually talking about 2 different players? |
