Every road win is a good win, so I'll take it despite late sloppy play. As for Tre, Cluess was about to say just how long he will be out and he caught himself and switched it to day to day, couldn't tell if it will be a short injury ( shoulder) or a long one but It sounded like one or the other, don't forget Robinson was day to day. They need Bowman to win both regular season and tourney. Other game comments, amazing they won so easily despite English being so off. Laury played very well again especially the first 30 minutes. Armand was on fire for a stretch there from 3, love to see that as he can steal a game somewhere down the stretch if he can take over a game from 3. Nice to see both sledge and Gomez get minutes, and I think Ellis even got a few before being quickly pulled for a likely missed assignment. This team is showing me the promise I thought I saw early in the year ( after g mason and gulf coast) , where I thought they had the potential to be Cluess's best team. I now see that again, they are not there yet but they can be that good. Super and Oldtimer are now likely right in that if this team makes the tourney they likely will be a 15 or possible 14, Iona's RPI after tonight is all the way up to 94. Finally I haven't mentioned my Dream slogan of "March to the Garden" not because I have given up but because it looks like Syracuse will be the 1 seed at the garden which means they will be in the Garden with 8/9 and 4-13, 5-12, seeds and Iona has no chance to get to a 13. lets just hope we get to that point of thinking about this, but I always am thinking too far ahead with this stuff. Joebird, agreed that it is way too early to have a seeding conversation, but there is still hope for a favorable seed IMO. All depends on how we finish, but our RPI could range anywhere from low 60s (13/14 seed range) to low 100s (definite 15). Still a lot of basketball left to be played, anything can happen. I also like to speculate on our seeding if we win the MAAC. I feel we would be a solid 14 seed, would not be surprised if we were a 15. Would have to see how the other mid major conference championships shake out with similar rpi's. Obviously we would be rooting for upset champions, which would logically improve our seed.

poole played really good last when you consider he had hecklers at the game with pictures of Rice yelling at him, they were on the court and were moved back a few times, armond and sledge had his back telling the hecklers what to do with the pics. laury hit a couple of 12ft like last year, armond had 2fls trying to get back on aj t/o's, has to learn to let a layup go instead of a 4th foul, armond was very involved from the bench yelling out on defense and telling them to huddle on free throws

Probably just on their own site, Niagara is not part of the Neulion MAAC TV thing.

Thanks Guy. Just checked Niagara site. they offer a one day pass for $6.95. You have to order the day of the game. For those that don't want to pay I guess you can try firstrow for a free video. sometimes you can catch a MAAC game there. I know I saw a Siena game there.

Siena and Niagara are the only MAAC schools you have to pay for outside of the IonaInsider/MAAC.tv packages.

OK, I lied about not wanting to get into the seeding discussion. Assuming we drop road games to Canisius and Manhattan, and then win out, including the MAAC tourney, it's hard to fathom that we'd be a 15 seed. It would put our RPI somewhere in the mid 60s with a 22-10 overall record. Seems to me like 14 seed material more than 15.

I think you are correct, liverpi has us a 77 going into maac tourney if that happens. My guess is we lose 3 down the stretch and then a 15 may be more likely. If we run the table liverpi has us 55th before the tourney and that would make us likely 13 although I highly doubt that would happen. Our problem is we have no real quality ooc wins like the past 2 years and our seeds then We're 14 and 15, although I believe the 14 was really a 13 and they moved us so byu didn't have to play on Sunday.

The Cluess is loose! The school did a nice job rounding up the students for Richie Guerin night. Can we get a Tim Cluess mustache night??
