Would expect us to be around 5.5 point favorites. Gotta win games like this, even if it's ugly. Just get the win.

better win this game, they are awful, like most of the occ has turned out to be Almost beat northern Iowa at northern Iowa, they seem like a team that can play well or play very bad. Yes we should win but No road game is easy. We won't be favored by that much.

These last four OOC games I would like to see Daniel Robinson getting some run. It seems to me he and Dublin are the guys to spell Dave, or play along side him. I'd use Ryden as a backup for Isaiah if IW needs a blow or is in early foul trouble. Hines can shoot the three and grab an occasional defensive board. Right now it seems like we're using Hynes to backup Dave and IW. For me any success we'll have will hinge upon getting something out of the Robinson/Dublin combo. The lack of PT so far for Robinson indicates to me that he is still hurt. I'm hoping that's not the case and he can contribute something.
Again very pleased so far with newcomers, Cas and Ibn. Very pleased with AJ and IW. Need Dave to get his head on straight and play to his strengths to help the team. And make good decisions. Need Amayo to not try to do too much and play within the offense.
This is a good game to get the ball rolling. They have talent and size but have been up and down. Their fans want their coach gone. Let's put the pressure on them early to keep up with us.
Ken Pom has us as about a 4pt favorite.
Here's what I'd like to see us do. Put Robinson, Dublin and maybe even Hines in a couple of times when we want to downshift for a few minutes. This might keep the engine from overheating and keep the guys fresh for the end of the game. Then work the others back in and kick in the turbo charger. We don't have to run at break-neck speed for 40 minutes.

[Better win this game, they are awful, like most of the occ has turned out to be[/quote] They are not quite awful, we should win, but not without good effort... They beat Manhattan on last second 75 foot hail Mary shot...... They lost in O.T to 9-1 Northern Iowa in Iowa....... They have pretty good height..... They are 2-6.....Better then that...May have internal problems... LINE...Iona 4-6 point favorite seems about right to me.......

i guess expectations are very low for the year all of a sudden, or people are making more excuses than siena fans. Our RPI is 81 with another OCC loss will be 100 and will only get worse with the condition of the MAAC. Monmouth has 3 other wins against teams in the 300's george mason beat 296 and 325 and thats it, so are we putting our selves in that class? if we are suppose to be the best team in the MAAC this is not a game that we should lose or be close, its time to put up or shut up and stop saying every team we play is going to give us problems, if this game has match up problems what would a first rd NCAA team be? we should stop making excuses on this board for the team unless you think they are a bad team that can only beat teams 250 or below

Ken Pomeroy says this is a four point game, not me. Hardly an overwhelming favorite. Let's see what Vegas thinks. I think we have a very talented group of offensive minded players. If we go into games with no energy and little effort we can lose to a lot of teams. Doesn't mean we're a bad team or anyone is making an excuse. That's just reality regarding how sports work. I know in the old days guys never had bad games or poor effort, everyone was on all the time and never laid an egg. But these kids nowadays are spoiled. Our RPI is 81. If we lose to UMASS on the road doubt it slips below 100, unless they have an awful year.

Vegas will be close to Pomeroy and if they say its a 4 point game, its a 4 point game, they had similar numbers for at Monmouth. Yes we should win but it is far from a gimee despite George Masons poor record.

05, and every time you cross the street you can get hit by a car!!! ctbill, you r right but with the loss and playing in the maac we will finish probably around 120 with no good wins all yr the point is good teams take care of business and don't build up the other teams to make excuses- see monmouth, how many ncaa tournament teams would say that's not a bad loss, if st chicken lost there there would have been many posts making fun of them yes the pomeray computer thinks it will be close, it probably thinks if we are playing the 300th team it will be close, but expectations for this team had us winning the conference not be a mediocre team that worries about 10 win teams

The fact is that we are not a top 50 team and playing a poor team on the road is not easy for us. You know our team well enough to know that we have the capability of blowing out George Mason or ....... losing outright.

Monmouth is going to finish in the top 3 of the MAAC. Yeah, bad loss for a major, but since we're a MAAC team, we can't be that arrogant about it. Anyone can win or lose any time, as we know. It doesn't mean we don't expect our team to win.
