George Mason game...As of 1 pm...........IONA now up 5 1/2 to 6 point favorite...
If I was still a wagering fan, George Mason looks more and more attractive, I could never root against Iona but I might do so hoping they would win but not cover the spread...

GM's roster is littered with onetime Iona recruits.

I think the line should be about 4.5, right now 5.5. I think in next 3 road OOC games, we will Win one big, lose one and win one by single digits, something tells me we will beat UMASS and lose to a bad Drexel team, maybe this is the blowout win.

Terrible loss.
This team has too many unique offensive threats to NOT run plays to get them open.
Just a bad bad loss.

Terrible loss. Seems we are disengaged and disinterested too often. Not sure why that is. Worries me to think we could fall into these pits during the MAAC tourney.

Thought GM did a good job getting us out of our rhythm and their length bothered us. Did a good job on AJ. We just looked like we were moving a step too fast to me at times, trying to rush things. I think that happens to us sometimes when we expect a big win. Too many unforced turnovers in the first half. Amayo right now is getting strong going to the hoop but still looks uncomfortable in the flow of the offense. I think they just out played us. Tip your hat and move on. We definitely have flaws. But the MAAC is wide open for the taking. We keep working and getting better we might be a good TEAM by February. When the 49% FT shooter made both FTs with a minute left I knew it wasn't our night

As we said on cht, only thing to take away from this is the play of Amayo

Back to the drawing board. Iona took a bus to this game, which doesn't help. 2 very bad games for AJ. IW has to take the 3 at the end. When Amayo plays under control he is very good, just needs to play within the game, lessen the amount of 1-4 out of control drives to the rim and he will be very good, but must get better at free throws. Team needs to find themselves, right now not a very good team.
