Stags coming off a big win in Albany. Seem to be a decent road team, having beaten Siena and Quinnipiac in their buildings. Here's how they break down:
Record: 5-10 Conf Record: 3-3 RPI: 244 Quality Wins: None

Once again Fast and Furious. Push the tempo and feed David Laury early. Then bombs away to spread the floor. Show no mercy. GO GAELS!

Two group of fans will disagree with 05. FF fans will say that their MAAC record is 3-2 and not 3-3. And Siena fans will say that FF has ONE quality win.

You're right, 3-2. Not so bad.

We open as a surprising 16 point favorite...With our tendency to ease up when issue is no longer in doubt would be a 'Stay away game' for me...For some reason we seem to be getting a little more respect as far as lines, RPI and polls go...

ease up? we haven't blown anyone out in a while. games in conference have been harder than they should have been so far How hard should the games be? when we play teams with an rpi over 200 we shouldn't be struggling, if we should why are we also talking about possible tourney matchups, the two don't go together

The other team knows what you are going to do before you do. It comes down to execution. If you're having an off night you can struggle. I actually like it when we struggle and find a way to win. Ask number 2 Duke why they struggled at Wake the other night.

Big game tonight. Need the win to stay tied with Monmouth, especially since they beat us already, and heading to the Buffalo trip this weekend. Hopefully not another slow start tonight. Fairfield only scores around 60 points a game, lets not let them hang around and gain confidence. They do have an ALL-MAAC level player in Gilbert and some size up front

Fairfield is one of those teams that I just hate to watch. Their offense is like watching paint dry and Johnson is a lousy coach who produces unwatchable basketball.

Conference games are about outcomes, not about style points. Btw, what games have we struggled in against sub 200 RPI teams? Delaware State, No Texas, ISU, Rider, Quinny, Drexel were all wins that we didn't have to sweat out. Want to say Monmouth and GMU were bad losses? Fine. It happens.

Thinking we're going to blow everyone out is crazy talk. I thought gutting out the Canisius game was a pleasant surprise.

Monmouth will likely finish second in the MAAC. Losing on the road to the second place team isn't bad. I still think we're going 17-3.
