The Jaspers lose Andujar and Kates (two significant contributors) but retain a nice nucleus of players next season. They will have depth at point guard, shooters, and bigs for the boards. Iona may have the best starting 5, but I'm not certain about the entire team. Bessick is unproven in this system and who knows what Hines will bring. Is Robinson still with us or will Iona land another significant big? Hard to remove Manhattan from the #1 spot until they are beaten.

Jaspers lose more than we do with Andujar, Stores and Kates graduating. Sure we'll add some size and depth to the roster. Would be surprised if we're not preseason #1.

We have big shoes to fill with the departure of DL and I have yet to see Bessick play. Hopeful Grasso and company can go grab 2 big athletic types who are reliable interior scorers and rebound. We need them!

If Manhattan gets a point guard they will be very good. I like this kid from Iona Prep. Winner.
Massiello and the rest of the Maac combine to wear us down again.

You have to expect the Maac to improve. Unless we get new facilities we're going to have trouble in the long run.....

Let's revisit this in late August when we know who is returning where. The last few years have brought lots of surprises/changes never envisioned at the end of the previous season. Looking forward to see what Coach Cluess and staff pull out of their hat before next season. I assume that Coach Masiello will also get some pleasant surprise commitment(s) late due to Manhattan's success and no drama surrounding him. I pray that the MAAC Conference RPI ranking moves back to the mid-teens vs last years #22.

Agree with Guy and a few others that the MAAC will be improved next year. Looking at the 16 players chosen for the ALL MAAC teams, 9 return not including IW and Hart from Marist, who didn't make any teams because they missed too many games. Also the players that probably just missed making postseason teams also return. Plenty of talent returning next year, spread out over most of the MAAC. Also some pretty good recruits already and some good transfers becoming eligible. These remaining 2 scholarships are really important for the staff, as well as the development of Hines and Robinson
