the poor kid was doomed from the start..his talent should have him in the NBA , his background/upbringing scared NBA teams away..still , he had an opportunity to prove himself in the NBDL..unfortunately quit after only 8 games...these poor kids sometimes simply cannot shake that upbringing/environment (SEE: AARON HERNANDEZ)

No one to blame but himself Many years ago as a young Police Office I was often assigned at a School Crossing Intersection...A certain amount of the children were ''Trouble' Years after while a Detective a majority of these same troubled children were now hardened criminals... That belief that there is ''No such things as a bad boy'' is a fallacy perpetrated by those that truly believe that there is good in every body.... I have discovered that there is a certain amount that are born with malice, and will die with it... There are of course exceptions, but I have found that the odds are against it...

I unfortunately learned the fallacy that there is good in everyone at Catholic school and from the teachings of Jesus Christ. Happy to be disabused of that nonsense.

St. John's and Hofstra will play pickup together every week this summer, sources told @cbssports. Terrific idea by both programs. #SJUBB

Tony Chiles has reportedly left Fordham. Could he return to SJU? I'm thinking(hoping for our greedy sake)they hire from with within. Probably promote Mitch Richmond. They are in dire need of an old bench coach

Do we bring this thread back, or nah? Doesn't matter to me. Wonder what the board thinks.
