Venezuela is in complete chaos.....Riots rule...At hamburger at McDonald's cost $130 dollars...Don't ask for sugar for you coffee, there is none as the cost is beyond the ability to purchase...A work week is down to 2 days a week...All a product of socialism... And yet the followers of Sanders and his 'Take from the rich and give to the poor' grows...
Has insanity infected the American mind, or has brain washing liberals and socialist gained control of the today's mindset...
I know there goes the ancient curmudgeon again...But a reading of my recent posts will reveal a growing forewarning....and instead of hiding your head in the sand rise and meet reality....Time is running short.

As I was being mentored by excellent leadership in my career, I was told, "don't bring me a problem! Bring me a problem with three options for a solution. In the earlier scenario, you are part of the problem; in the latter, you are part of the solution."

On that note OT, what is your plan?
St.Louie...I have read your hasty post several times, I still can't unravel its intent.........In many of the situations, I did not have your option of being told 'Don't bring me a problem, bring me a problem with three options for a solution' I can only imagine how that would work out in a life and death situation where you were the only one with the decision that needs immediate attention.....
By the way....How are you dealing with the sky rocking death rates in our major cities sparked by Ferguson.....

OT, this is your thread - Chaos arriving. You raise an interesting question in your post. What did you do in a life and death situation? Did you have solutions, or did you just run around with your hair on fire as you are doing now? Again, what is your plan? What are your solutions for Chaos arriving?

Probably the most ignorant post of the year......I am a going on 92 years of age...I fought my way back from the ravages of a stroke which I was in a semi-coma for 6 months...and you want me to formulate a plan on this forum to save the Country I love from left wing lunatics.....No my friend you and your ilk are responsible for the problems, YOU SOLVE THEM....I was part of a generation that saved the world once, now its your turn...
But from what I have seen of it you will no doubt bury your head in the sand with hopes that the problems will disappear into your world of ''I don't want to know about it''...
And for your information.....I have never run around with my hair on fire, but I have run into fire a few times.....

Glad you brought up The Donald - right out of the OT ilk.
Insults all who disagree. Runs around with his hair on fire - you have seen the orange glow. But he has no plan, Nada, not a clue. "The country I love" does not include muslims, no Mexicans, women in their place, and compliant African Americans. OHHH - and absolutely no one, repeat no one, who does not agree that he is THE GREATEST aka Liberals. Sort of reminds me of some Austrian guy from the 1930's.

He took the easy way out and shirked his duty as a true American, the country in which he made millions...While others died for his selfish desire...He is not and never will be my hero...
Before you dash into your usual practice of deeming me a racist, long before you were even around I was a avid fan of a real American hero and gentleman, a man that did not shirk his duty.....Quote OT

OT, your Presidential candidate also dodged the draft. Comment?

Actually, Ali did not dodge the draft. He confronted it, followed his conscience; and said "I am not going". His decision drew a 5 year prison sentence, and cost him $Millions during his ban from boxing. 55,000 young Americans died in VIETNAM - not a single one of them because of Ali's decision.
However, you are correct on TRUMP - and Bush, and Clinton. "The government had a system where the rich man's son went to college, and the poor man's son went to war." (Muhammad Ali)
OT Bernie Sanders is not going to be the Democratic nominee. So you'll have to scare people with some other tact, while offering no solutions and insulting everyone born after 1946.
And maybe, just maybe, you'll take off the blinders long enough to acknowledge that Conservative pundits and candidates have played their part stirring the pot by employing extreme rhetoric instead of engaging in honest debate. And the Republican party nominee has done this country a great disservice by lowering the level of discourse to that of a middle-schooler running for President. Even if he is simply pandering and doesn't believe half the nonsense he's spouted, which completely lacks substance, he has still done this country a great disservice by campaigning from the gutter. As a proud American, I find his campaign insulting to my intelligence, incoherent, and at times utterly offensive in its undermining of important principles deeply woven into the fabric of this country. Instead of calling Mexican Immigrants "illegals" since they haven't violated any criminal laws, he should call them WOPs, people in the country "without papers." How would you feel about that?

Irish playwright and Nobel Laureate George Bernard Shaw once said: "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."
"He did not want to fight in Vietnam. He ended up giving up nearly four years of the prime of his career because of his refusal to fight. He never knew if he would ever have a boxing license in this country again, much less get a chance to win the heavyweight championship two more times. And over those four years, and before he really came back in such a big, bright, loud way against Frazier at the Garden in ’71, as he traveled the country and the world, talking and talking and talking, a funny thing happened: The country began to take another look at Muhammad Ali.
And suddenly it wasn’t just the young and the liberal who loved him. Not because he changed. Because we did.
If there was anyone who should have run with the crowd against Muhammad Ali at the end of the 1960s, it should have been my father, who had fought World War II for his country at the age of 20, who flew in B-24s as a bombardier in the night over Italy and Austria and Germany, and was one who came home alive; part of what came to be known, of course, as the Greatest Generation.
But when people refused to call Ali by the name he chose when he converted to Islam, when they continued to call him Cassius Clay, my father explained his admiration for him this way:
