I am all for adding a new assistant coach with strong local recruiting connections. Thing is I really wonder if Cluess would replace a current member of the staff after they were thrown to the wolves covering him while he deals with his health issues. Cluess did hire these coaches for his staff. Just have the feeling Cluess has the confidence in himself and the staff they can turn things around IF he returns. Just don't think Cluess is the type to get rid of any one of the coaches considering the circumstances

Enjoy the Super Bowl--not much to say here. Now we have to endure Joe Buck for 3 1/2 hours. 😩

As far as I can tell, this was the first time in Iona’s history that it lost by 20 or more points at Draddy, and it was the biggest loss to the Jaspers since 1994 (we lost to them by 30+ in the conf tourney that year).
Pathetic.

Will Perez hit a 3 before the season ends? No

Couple of these guys have a Maac titles and an appearance in the dance. They may have checked out. As I mentioned before this feels like the end of the Fran/Siena run. Sadly if a few of the close games fell differently early on we would not be 10 run ruling right now.
Cluess is not a quitter. Unless he's completely impaired by his ailment he will be back. THE AD needs to find a Grasso type to take the reigns a few years from now.

Everyone needs to assume some responsibility for this wasted season — players and Arnold included.

Pathetic. Bizarre that we were up at the half. Did M make an adjustment to completely school us?

Two more things: 1. It was reported that we had nine scholarship players. Maybe, but I didn't see any. 2. Get ready for a release from the Athletic Dept. that they are hopeful that TC will be back soon. Don't hold your effin breath for any release from the Athletic Dept. - too disruptive to their karma.

Is 14 points the record for lowest scoring points in a half for us?

Not sure Arnold will want to return, though.

Everyone needs to assume some responsibility for this wasted season — players and Arnold included. I think we have had a large enough sample size to realize that Arnold is not qualified for the head coaching position. The lack of discipline must fall on the coach. It’s the old adage, do you get rid of 1 coach or the 12 players? As fans, it’s frustrating to watch a team that each game looks like strangers that just met at an open gym recreation center.

When we had the flu we scored 80 points? LOL
