As bad as this is,and it’s bad,I believe ANYONE can wi the tourney,1st place Quinny gets destroyed by Niagara.A couple of big ifs out there, but if they happen do not totally give up yet,we can’t be as bad as we look, although right now it would be tough to argue, wish we had a few more fans there today,it’s easy to show up when your team is winning!!! +1 still think with Cluess we have a chance Didn't realize only the insiders were allowed at this game Many who love to show their faces and shake hands with all of the athletic dept when we win were absent today when things are tough, sort of like middle of last year. I guess winning the maac last year AGAIN just wasn't enough for people to continue supporting the best program in the MAAC

Based upon the team quitting, I would limit Agee, Crawford, Perez etc playing time. Get Jelly and Ross to lead the guys who may be here next year. We can lose with Agee and Crawford getting 35+ mins a game, we can lose with them getting 15+ mins. Next thing is to Recruit, recruit, recruit and then recruit some more. Then spend some time scheduling. I would also be honest and have Mike Lonergan on campus this offseason to discuss scenarios JUST IN CASE for next year. PS glad we beat Mt St Vincent preseason, because if we played them now we would lose. so benching a guy with 3 rings is the solution, I found one guy who is less qualified to coach than Arnold

We set some pretty embarrassing records with our loss at Draddy yesterday:
- Biggest deficit in Iona history at Draddy - First time we scored under 50 since 2009; first time we scored under 50 in the TC era - Fewest points in a half in the TC era (14)
Hopefully the players and coaches are as embarrassed by this as we are, and use it to fuel them for however many games are remaining.

The team underachieving is frustrating. Way too many variables to target the key root problems. As we are outsiders we are just guessing without having actual insight into the daily grind. No quick fixes. My read is that this team has become crippled by a lack of confidence. Lack of confidence breeds hesitation and thinking too much in game which leads to turnovers, bad shots and getting beat to loose balls and shooters. Sad. Feel bad for players and coaching staff as they are trapped in this gloom and doom cycle. Unfortunately, I feel that they will not find the answer before seasons end. Offseason will begin the process. Better days are ahead, just not now.

Where is the leadership in Iona Athletics? The leadership void is damaging the kids; Coach A's career; and undermining the pride and joy in our new facility. Let me put his another way. Who do you see in the Athletic Department leadership being raided by my good friend, Pat Lyons? Matt, I turn my lonely eyes to you - Do Something! So dramatic. What do you expect the athletic department do?? Or let me put it this way...what were they doing differently the last four years when we were winning that you would like to see them do more of?

There's a part of me that thinks Tim may not be interested in a complete rebuild, and walks away. Who can blame him? If that happens, hire Tobin Anderson. I was at STAC on Saturday for the Mercy Game. Anderson gets 100% effort from his kids and they play a fun brand of hoops. I can't believe that this guy has not been grabbed to run a Div 1 program yet.

Not sure why we are seeing "Chicken Little Syndrome" in full effect. All the concern and assigning blame in my opinion is counter productive. Best to sit back and be ready to provide support where needed. Way too much energy spent on trying to understand why this team is under performing. Be patient as I have confidence that there are competent individuals in place to help move forward through these difficult times. Right now it sucks, but better days will return.
