+1000 Colleges shouldn't be closing. No healthy 20yr olds have died in the US, sending kids early to spring break is a much better idea, there is no touching when kids go away for spring break, pools are probably a good place to be as well I think it is clear who you played with on spring break. The carpel tunnel syndrome is evident in your posts. "Hey you dum broad, wood yu like two gow on a date?"

What forms the basis for your declaration that this is an overreaction?

What forms the basis for your declaration that this is an overreaction? The National Guard.

What forms the basis for your declaration that this is an overreaction? The National Guard. And why is that?

National Guard deployed is hilarious. Basically locking the area down. Curious to see what happens if people within that region want to leave. Are they going to start shooting people to contain this problem?
I think this whole coronavirus is way overblown. Do I think it is serious? Yes, but everyone is reacting like this is the end of the world.

The National Guard is here to help with the cleaning of the buildings and hand out supplies, not to do any type of policing. My Mom lives in a senior building in New Rochelle outside of the contamination circle. The National Guard was at her building, and every Sr building and nursing home, dropping off supplies. I for one am glad they are here helping out. Lots of senior citizens are very anxious over the situation

Yes, but everyone is reacting like this is the end of the world. Nobody is blocked from leaving or entering According to his statement - "Residents would still be allowed to move around — but the new policy effectively blocks any large public gatherings in the area, to prevent further transmission of the virus." As such, it would seem that they're blocking people from doing certain activities such as gathering in large areas. The majority of the cases come from a Jewish congregation at a synagogue. Interesting to see them stop them from gathering. Happy to hear about the senior citizens are them helping out with those issues.

My guess, and my hope, is that the Synagogue will stop themselves from gathering for a couple of weeks.

I'm pretty sure that the Synagogue, in question, has been closed since last week.

My question is. We just won a big MAAC tournament game. Why is anyone posting in this thread?
