Any other word on Juana’s injury. It was a real freaky occurrence.

She participated in a postgame clip shared on insta, so I'm sure it's not devastating.

Gaels beat the Purple Eagles 61-54. Tough game all the way. Niagara pressed most of the game and turned up the heat down 19 with 7 minutes or so to go. Defense had to win this one for Gaels and did. 16-5, 11-1. Now have a full 2 game lead on Niagara, Quinni & Fairfield and have beaten Quinni & Niagara twice already. If they can get through Canisius on Sunday (Second game of Buffalo trip always tough), They get Fairfield at home Next Thursday. Hopefully we can stay out of the PIG this year!

Thought the game started at 7PM so I missed the first half. And from the boxscore I see that our player from the Republic of Georgia (I can't remember her name, starts with O) who is usually our first player off the bench, only played three minutes. Was she injured?

Manhattan hangs on to defeat Fairfield, so we are now 3 games clear of the only team to beat us so far.

Ho Hum... An impressive sweep of the Western NY swing. Great game on both sides of the ball, but particularly on defense. Juana leads all scorers with 22. 17-5, 12-1. 11 wins in a row.

Juana Camilion is a VG player. Plays great defense and can score, dish and rebound. She is certainly the straw that stirs the drink. Hate to see her leave.

In thinking about JC, I'm pretty sure that this is her fifth year. And the difference that the extra year makes is noticeable. Last year she was the MAAC's DPOY and this year she's a leader for POY. There is something to be said for 5th year players. Both Men's and Women's.
