So if the portal is now closed and you want to transfer, what happens? If not a grad transfer, have to sit a year unless you get a waiver

So if the portal is now closed and you want to transfer, what happens? You find that your grandmother is ill.

Supreme Cook to Georgetown. Wish we had gotten him, but doubt that TA wanted to grab a guy from another MAAC team. On the MAAC Board they are criticizing Sha/SH for not being able to land a NJ guy. If that means anything.

Seems that a number of players have now completed the June summer semester and earned enough credits to graduate. Thus adding to the Grad Transfer pool, so it's possible that we'll hear about a 13th scholarship player. Also possible that even more will become eligible after the July semester. My guess is that if we do fill the last spot it will be a 'grad' transfer.

Mohamed Wague, in portal from West Virginia mess. Averaged 4 and 3 for WV last year, shot 74% FG (not a typo). 6-10 Jr. Looks like Kansas St and Depaul are the frontrunners.

We have reached out to West Virginia transfer Mohamed Wague. A 6'10" PF/C. He averaged 4.1PPG and 3.1RPG on 74% from the floor last season. A JUCO product out of the Bronx who vveraged 14.8 points and 11.9 rebounds per game at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania... ★★★ recruit according to rivals.
Schools in contact: Kansas State Alabama North Carolina Georgetown Oregon Ole Miss BYU Nebraska Cal Seton Hall DePaul VCU North Texas Temple Western Kentucky New Mexico State Iona UTEP Fairfield

I know that he only averaged four points per game and that the video is supposed to make him look good, but, to me, he looks better than his stats. He looks like an athletic 'big' that would be a nice final piece to the roster puzzle even though the odds are against TA landing him. Of course they were also against TA beating Purdue.
P.S. 86, do you know where he went to HS?

Reading the Siena board, while not mentioning him by name, it sounds like Durugordon will not be eligible.
If that's the case, tough blow as likely nice chunk of NIL money spent on an ineligible player, and now have to worry that HM programs don't try and poach him before next season.
Honestly, was still worth the shot.

By sitting out does he double his NIL money as he'll be in school an extra year?
