I hope he opts out of SJU. He shouldn't have to go through a rebuild. He needs bigger exposure. Pitino didn't make wCJr, Clayton helped RP.

This sucks so bad! Pitino is as ungrateful as anyone ever. Would have been a great team next season. This move really bothers me as well. I knew RP was always going to look to leave, but destroying this roster when next year looked so bright is just awful. The team was starting to click and you really started to see WC and DJ really come into their own at the end of the year. They played off of each other so well. What could have been will haunt me for years to come because next year I had us pegged to making a run in the tournament. I truly felt that we finally had that mid major level talent that could take it to the next level. |

Look at FDU, 4-win team the prior season and then one year later they find themselves with an NCAA win over a 1 seed with the smallest lineup in the country. |

St francis had a red shirt frosh, originally went to Hofstra that shot 42% frpm 3, Zion Bethea does anyone know anything about him since the program is ending after the spring semester

If Pitino keep recruit Brandon Gardner (★★★★) PF out of Christ the King and pulls Ian Jackson (★★★★★)away from NC, neither Nelly nor Walt will see much run after midway thru the season as playing time and starting are part of the promises you have to make and get and keep Top 100 recruits.
I assume that Rafael Pinzon and Andre Curbelo are probably headed for the portal but SJU still has AJ Storr (★★★★), SG Posh Alexander (★★★★) PG, Dylan Addae-Wusu (★★★) SG. Storr is from IMG and the other two from OSL... I doubt that Pitino will sacrifice burning a bridge with 2 of the top 10 Prep programs in the country that quickly.
If Walt does not want to return to Iona, go play for Kansas as they have the top rated coach in college basketball.

Looks from Georgetown, Rutgers and Nova. |
